So, we've all heard of Italy's "rebellious stage" right? I came up with a theory explaining the unexplained. XD I make it sound like some paranormal phenomenon.

I thought about when this happened, and I think it was after Holy Rome's "death"

Just remember that. This one is a bit more of a theory, but not really, I just have to explain my way of thinking.

Italy's "rebellious stage" most likely occurred then, because, well think about it. When he was with Rome, he was WAAAAY to young, with Austria and Hungary, he didn't in the least show a mean streak. But it had to happen somewhere around then, because it was Chibtalia.

Okay, never mind. I think this is a theory. Oh well.

What if this happened because of Holy Rome's disappearance?

Because in no way, is Italy weak. He's taken down England, and as Chibitalia, he took down TURKEY. And in that time period, Turkey was supposedly very strong.

So, what if he was fighting because of Holy Rome being "dead" (I think I've made it clear enough, I support the Germany/HRE theory)

And maybe afterwards, when he matured, he tried to stop fighting. This is a theory within a theory. And..I guess it's kinda far fetched. Oh well.

So, first, there's the always surrendering, even though he's strong. Which could be laziness, but I don't think he's THAT bad.

Then there's the World War thing. It has ALWAYS bugged me. In one scene you see Italy watching TV, and he...in whatever translation, be it dubbed, or some form of subbed, criticizes Germany for attacking France. However, in the very next scene, Italy joins the Axis.

So, maybe he's trying to stop the fighting, because of Holy Rome. Maybe he's bipolar. I don't know anymore. I'll publish this, so you guys can laugh.
