So...I just finished listening to one of Russia's character songs. His seventeen minute long character song. SEVENTEEN MINUTES. But I love his for the simple fact that, by listening to them, I get a better grasp at Russia's personality.
Maybe I'm getting the wrong concept, but this is what I understood by each song.
Listening to Light My Heart, I got a sense of his...childishness? That innocence he has at times. Maybe you guys don't understand. I'm not really great at putting my feelings into words. But I want to explain this, because.
Listening to Winter, it definitely went into his crueler side. That personality that makes people write him off as evil.
Listening to White Flame (the one that lasts seventeen minutes), it...I got a better sense of his grief and loneliness. Most of it was honestly instrumental, but...trying to find a way to explain...it seemed to me that he spoke of wanting to be different that he was. What I understood from it was...regret. I...I'm probably overthinking this.
But now, I'm just thinking about life. That song put me in a weird mood. I don't know anything, anymore.
