brenda's pov
after about ten minutes, i finally decided to make jack leave, in fear of my parents waking up.
"jack, i don't wanna have to do this, but you need to leave. my parents are going to know something's up!" i said, looking up at him.
"chill baby, we can just hang out or something. just tell them we're hanging out together, it's not that big of a deal," he replied, still not looking up from his phone.
"that's actually a good idea, let me go get ready and then we can go to the mall or something," i said, as he smirked.
he just nodded and told me he'd wait for me in the living room.

i jogged downstairs in my slightly ripped jeans and grey v-neck. jack was in the living room, on his phone. i'm not surprised.
"jaaack...you're no fun! what happened to the jack i saw last night? huh, daddy?" i said, winking at him.
jack finally locked his phone and shoved it in his pocket.
"don't do that to me, baby girl," he said.
i simply laughed and walked out. he followed me with his hands in his pockets.
