"What is it?" Evie asked Jacob.

"It's about Y/n," Jacob admits, "Ever since we've rescued her, she's been acting strange. Like she's hiding something from me. Every time I ask her, she always tells me that she's fine and nothing for me to worry about. Just last night, I saw her writing a letter to someone and it doesn't make any sense. Who would she be writing to?"

                                                  Evie pursed her lip.

"Are you sure you're not imagining things?" Evie asked him.

"I'm serious, Evie. Something is wrong with Y/n, I know it! I know my daughter and her actions are saying that something is wrong!" Jacob replied.

"Here you go." Y/n sang, tying a small bottle around a cat's neck.

The cat licked her cheek then leaves as Y/n shut the window. She jumped down from the window sill and started doing her "studies" as her "father" enters her bedroom.

"Hi, Daddy," Y/n greeted, shutting her book to look up at her father.

                                                       "Are you-?" He started.

"I'm fine," she cuts him off, "Daddy, you don't have to constantly ask me if I'm okay or not. I'm fine."

Jacob sighs, pulling in for a tight embrace.

"I'm just worried about you, duckling," Jacob admits.

"They were expecting us," Evie scowled while pacing up and down, "Thorne was expecting us, Henry."

Jacob looked out the window, thinking. He straightened with wide eyes.

                                                             "Evie."

                                                             "Not now, Jacob." Evie snaps.

                                                              "It's Y/n! She's outside! With guards!"

                                                                Evie stood by Jacob's side.

                                                                "Follow them."

Jumping from rooftop to rooftop, Evie and Jacob continued to follow Y/n and her escorts. Y/n and her escorts disappeared into an abandoned factory; Jacob shot Evie a glance and she nodded at him. Jacob and Evie split into different directions.
