Harry:

My heart slammed against my chest as I tore out of the building. How could he? This just didn't happen did it? How could he go from "loving" me to marring someone else? He was my best mate, I would have at least expected him to tell me or ask my opinion. But I guess we weren't exactly at a good standing.

I heard someone calling my name but I didn't care enough to turn around.

I was so confused and wrapped up in the thought that I wasn't good enough. That I never was good enough for him. Why couldn't I be a girl? Then he could love me.

I felt my knees give out beneath me as I fell into the sand. I guess whoever had called my name had given up and went back to the bar to celebrate Niall's engagement. The tears dried on my cheeks with the cool ocean air. It truly was beautiful out there. The sky was a light shade of grey on the horizon and the moon shined over the water. I took a moment to just breathe. It seemed to help. What I really needed was to get away. To leave everything behind and start over. But how could I do that to the lads? They had worked so hard to get me back in the band.

I glanced down at my phone to see 3 missed calls. 1 from each of the lads that I was still talking to. Just then my phone vibrated in my hand.

-Are you okay? -Nialler xx

My heart stopped in my chest as my fingers trembled over the screen.

Niall:

My head was spinning and I hadn't even had a single thing to drink yet. All I could think about was the look on Harry's face. The pain and the tears. God he was so precious to me. And that was why I couldn't resist doing what I did next. Even though I had absolutely no right to communicate with him after everything I had put him through.

I pulled out my brand new phone that Holly had insisted I buy after I told her that I had lost my other one, and texted him.

"Come on Baby, let's dance." Holly said. I internally groaned and shoved my phone into my back pocket to be sure that I could feel it if he responded.

Harry:

I shook my head and wiped my tears again. I tried to force away the slowly forming smile. Did he still care?

Going against everything I had ever known about exes I texted him back.

-Not Really. That was quite a big surprise.

My phone lit up just seconds after I had sent it.

-Where are you? -Nialler xx

I hesitated. I shouldn't be forgiving him this easily. I thought as all the pain started to disappear. He was talking to me again.

I texted him my location and put my phone back in my pocket.

Soon enough I heard a car pull up behind me and footsteps on the sand.

I took a deep breath preparing myself.

I heard him sit down in the sand beside me.

"Harry, I'm sorry." he said.

I fought back the tears, refusing to look at him.

"Please say something!" he begged.

I looked at his tears threatening to spill over again.

"What do you want me to say?" I asked.

We were both silent.

"I thought you hated her." I finally said.
