Part 39: Out

Jimin, Yoongi and Jungkook were all lay on the youngest bed chilling after a long week of not seeing each other.

Jin had visited earlier but because his parents were being extra strict with him since the whole Jimin thing he hadn't been allowed to see them as often but he was working on being able to in the time he wasn't spending with them.

Jungkook ideally wanted Jin to be there for what he was planning on saying but he couldn't be around long enough and when he was either Yoongi or Jimin weren't there.

He gave himself two options of keep delaying or just talk to two and the longer he left it the more he swung to one option than the other, only being held back by the thought 'I've waited this long, why not wait a little longer?'

But when the memory of his and Taehyung's phone call the night before ran through his head he couldn't wait.

"Hyungs? Can I tell you something?"

Yoongi and Jimin both looked at him, Jimin took Jungkook's hand and nodded as Yoongi said "You can tell us anything Kookie."

Jungkook nodded lightly and bit his lip for a moment before going for it and confessing "I think I'm gay."

Jimin and Yoongi weren't surprised he was but were surprised that he was so forward with it with how skeptical he was in the past.

Just as boldly he admitted "And I like Taehyungie." Causing both of their jaws to drop.

Jungkook then blushed when he built up the confidence to see their reaction but before he could say anything both boys dived on.

"AHHHH LOOK AT HIM! ALL GROWN UP!"

"WHEN DID OUR PRECIOUS KOOKIE TURN INTO SUCH A YOUNG MAN?!"

Jungkook blushed redder at his hyungs reactions but hugged them back being glad that it wasn't a bad reaction and when Jimin asked "How did you know?" Jungkook couldn't help but smile widely.

He said "To the being gay, I think it's just something you know and that it's a case of wether or not you accept it. And as for Tae, have you looked at him. He's so cute and pure and squishy and precious and funny and talented and hot and handsome and sexy and-" gushing towards the end with a giant smile which only grew at Yoongi's reaction.

"We get it your whipped."

Jungkook bounced on his spot and said "I told you both because I need your help." Before calming down and actually saying it.

"Taehyung confessed to me last night and I panicked and hung up the phone call and when I though I could just pretend it didn't happen because I didn't know what to do but when I messaged him earlier he wouldn't answer my messages and I want to tell him I like him too but I don't know how because I'm literally blocked-"

Yoongi couldn't help but speak his thoughts out loud when he said "So your why Taehyung's been ignoring me all day..." before snapping back into reality and saying "Your gonna probably need to do something big because he's a sensitive bean."

Jimin proposed "Why don't you go to Daegu?" As an idea and Jungkook's face literally lit up.

"I have a week off nothing starting tomorrow, maybe Hoseokie hyung or Namjoonie hyung can come and meet me and take me to TaeTae if I explain to them."

Yoongi asked "Explain what?" To Which Jimin answered "Obviously his gay panic." Getting a eye roll and a head shake in response as well as a chuckle from Jungkook.

"Let's do this then and let's get ready to send you off, assuming Eomma and Appa agree."
