Part 20: Make up

"Jimin I promise you, I never got your first letter. I didn't even know there was a first letter! All I know is that I got a letter one day saying fuck you and I got confused and upset but there was nothing I could do to change or fix it since I thought the problem was me. Not that their was a whole conspiracy of bullying and general dick heads ruining your life and placing me as the root cause. Do you honestly think I'd ever say anything like that about anyone let alone my own best friend? One of the people I valued most."

They'd talked it out fully with the other boys being there to support them both, with Namjoon supporting Hoseok mainly and Jin, Jimin.

Jimin told his side of the story with an emotionless face as everyone in the rooms eyes pricked with tears and Hoseok sobbed his side and apologies that he never got the letter and he genuinely didn't know.

Hoseok felt like he could fix it and he didn't want to give up, especially when neither were to blame in his eyes so he was willing to work for it.

Even when Jimin pointed out "... You didn't tell me a lot of things apparently so how was I supposed to be sure I even knew you..."

He defended "Jimin I was and am the same Jung Hoseok you knew, just a little bit gayer and open about my love for dick and-" ending with a chuckle as Taehyung began to shout loudly "CHILDREN IN THE ROOM LALALALALA." Covering Jungkook's ears and shouting to protect his own.

Hoseok contained his laughter after and said in a serious voice "Sorry Taehyungie. *cough* open." Correcting himself.

Jimin couldn't help but smile slightly even though he felt horrid, in such a serious room a little thing like that was enough to make most laugh.

The only three people who didn't being Jimin, Hoseok and Yoongi who had been watching and making sure everything went okay.

He had a soft spot for Jimin and he wanted to protect his best friend so he was being the one who made sure it didn't turn into them both just crying since they both were emotional messes.

Hoseok continued to plead "Jiminie you have to believe me. Please. Believe me. I never and never would and never will. My words aren't even working I'm so brain fried over the whole thing. I don't understand how people can be that horrible but I know they are. Especially here."

With the end Causing Jimin to bitterly comment "You don't have to tell me twice..."

Hoseok looked at him hopefully and asked "Do you believe me?" Frowning at Jimin's facial expression but then smiling brightly when he said "I don't know..."

Hoseok could work with that.

He begged "I know I can't automatically come back and win your trust back but please let me prove it too you. I'll do anything. I just want my amazing best friend back."

Being further supported by Jungkook who nudged Jimin's are sayinf "You are pretty amazing hyung~" Getting a small smile from the other before being nudged back and told "Don't suck up Jeon your still getting shot when I get my gun back."

Everyone laughed at that including Yoongi who said "Once again, it would be concerning if anyone else said that." Making Jimin blush slightly for some unknown reason.

Literally anything Yoongi seemed to do made him flustered; be it breathing or smiling or talking in general let alone to him.

Hoseok noticed this and smiled sadly.

Everything that happened DEFINITELY made things harder for Jimin, the boy he used to protect who had to learn to protect himself from a lot worse.

Jimin met Hoseok's eyes and smiled sadly too before quietly saying "I'm sorry for that letter..." getting a "I'm sorry I didn't push to come home more to explain the whole situation in the first place."

It ended up being a sorry of ending up in them apologising for stupid things until Jin said "Just hug and make up already!" Causing both boys too.

Jimin now has the closure he needed and Hoseok finally had the friend he missed back in his arms.

His brother.

And Yoongi couldn't help but smile widely when Namjoon whispered in his ear "Min Suga Genius strikes again." Ending in Yoongi clapping and saying "NEXT ISSUE. WHERE MY GAYS AT?" Causing everyone to laugh loudly but with five hands raising in the room.

"Awe Jungkookie your not gay?" Taehyung pouted causing Jungkook to pout himself and look down.

Yoongi sighed and corrected "Where are my gays WHO ARE OUT at?" Causing both Taehyung and Jungkook's pouts to stop.

Yoongi chuckled that his resolve worked and said "Okayyy Min Suga Genius for his next trick will repair a severed relationship. Mr Kim Namjoon and Mr Kim SeokJin please stand."

Both did as they were told knowing what was coming but this was a much easier resolve.

"Now kiss and make up."

Namjoon and Jin did my kiss but they did hug and Namjoon apologised for leaving Jin behind in which Jin admitted it would've hurt more to be offered the choice to leave because he wouldn't have anyways.

A much easier fix than that of misleading information and lies.
