Thank you so much m00000007 for the amazing cover above^^^^ I love it!

My heart couldn't stop beating fast and loud.

Blake squeezed my hand in comfort as I nodded at him.

"Here's it." George said, as he stared at  the computer screen.

I gulped.

Here I was along with George and Blake, watching the CCTV footage of Jasmine's front door's camera of the day she got murdered.

George didn't question anything, as he just arranged the footage, which was like a year old.

"Play it." I said, swallowing the lump in my throat.

George started the video.

I saw Jasmine entering her house through the front door.

I saw her mom and dad leaving the house.

I saw George leave the house as well, as I stole a look from George who was beside me.

He looked in...pain. He regretted leaving I guess.

If he hadn't left the house, leaving Jasmine alone, maybe she wouldn't have...

I paused the video footage, as I turned to look at George.

Giving him a side hug, I reassured him that it wasn't his fault.

I pulled away sitting back on my chair, as Blake resumed the footage.

In the next few moments, nothing happened. No one came.

But, after a while, James came.

I fucking knew it!

He rang the doorbell, but I guess no one answered, so he tried to open the door.

The door was unlocked, as James got in.

I paused the video.

"How can someone be so irresponsible, George? Who leaves the fucking front door open?" I could'nt help but ask George.

"Jasmine was in the house, why would I lock it?" He asked, quietly.

I sighed, before playing the video.

In the next few moments, James quickly got out of the house, and went away, never looking back.

And after that, Jasmine's mom arrived as I closed the video.

James was the last person who met Jasmine.

"Why were you so interested in watching this?" George asked me.

What do I say?

George thinks Jasmine committed suicide.

"Uh, I wanted to know who Jasmine met at last." I said, facepalming myself internally.

"Why?"

"Because, she thought that maybe she was the last person who met Jasmine, you know. Xandra just wanted to be sure, Isn't it?" Blake said, and I hurriedly nodded.

George wasn't convinced, as he was about to say something but couldn't, when my phone rang.

Looking at my phone's screen, I realised Ryder was calling.

This means he did his work.

"Blake, I think we should get going, my mom's calling." I said, showing Blake my phone's screen.
