"So...You really liked Bethany or were you using her?" I couldn't help but ask, after a pregnant silence.

Cole looked at me, hesitantly.

"I liked her. A lot." He answered me.

He's lying. There is something more to the story.

I was about to---

"Cole, I'm scared." I heard Mason mutter from the back seat.

I think watching that film scared Mason.

"Don't be," I said, turning to look at him.

Mason rubbed his eyes as he sat straight, before yawning.

He is so freaking cute.

"You're still here Xandra, are you going to stay with me tonight?" He asked me.

"I wish I could," I said, smiling at him.

"Why are we all still in the car then?" Mason asked, before adding, "Are we all going to stay here for the night?"

"Of course not. We were just going to wake you up. Anyways, Bye Mason. See you tomorrow." I said, as I opened the gate and stepped out of Cole's car.

Cole just stared at me, dumbfounded.

I was about to tell him my story, but I've changed my mind.

If he isn't being truthful, why should I keep my promise?

I sighed as I made my way to my house.

I didn't turn back to see if Cole left or not.

One week.

It's been a week since I last talked to Antony properly.

Well, you aren't even talking properly to Cole.

I sighed. I don't even know why I'm ignoring these two.

Maybe because my whole mood got spoiled when I found out that Tyler wasn't coming to meet me.

Tyler had some 'important work' to do, so he promised me that he would meet me the next weekend.

I made my way towards my locker, I had to take some extra books for the next class.

After taking out all the books I needed, I closed my locker.

I jumped when I saw Antony standing right behind me.

He raised an eyebrow at my actions.

"Do you need anything?" I asked him, as I stared up at him.

He was obviously taller than me. His was a little shorter than Cole, though.

"Nothing. I thought I should give you a check-up, just in case you were scared or something." He said as he shrugged his shoulders.

He smirked at me. But his expression changed when I smirked back at him.

"Oh, really? I was about to check up on you as well. Great minds think alike." I said, and he raised his eyebrows.

"Why would you check up on me?" He asked, more to himself.

"Just in case your nose needed a plaster," I said as I started walking away from him.

"You know babydo--" He started but I cut him off.

"Don't. Call. Me. That." I coldly said as I increased my walking speed.

Antony didn't follow me any further.
