Antony took a step back.

"I told you." He said, looking at Cole.

What is going on? What did Antony tell Cole?

"She is the one." Antony continued when Cole didn't say anything.

Cole kept his stare on me.

"The one?" I interrupted.

"The one and only girl who made James fall for her. He fell so hard that he left all his player moves. For her." Cole answered.

I remained quiet.

"But, everyone knows that Karma is a bitch. The damn girl broke his heart, causing him to turn into a psycho." Antony said, looking at me, dead in the eyes.

"Do not even try explaining Xandra," Antony said, when I opened my mouth, to give him a piece of my mind.

"He was a psycho, long before he met Xandra. You can't blame her for making him a psychopath." Cole said, much to my shock.

Cole walked near us, and stood in front of me, beside Antony.

This is the first time I'm seeing them having a proper civil conversation.

"Really? Why are you supporting her? Don't tell me that you're under her spell as well. I am warning you, she might just turn you into a psychopath as well." Antony said, anger evident in his tone.

"James wasn't an angel either. He did ruin her best friend's life." Cole reasoned, staring at Antony, trying not to punch him.

"What best friend? How the fuck did a heartbreak ruin her life? How the hell --" I punched Antony in the face.

Nobody speaks shit about my bestie.

I felt something liquid trailing all over my knuckle.

Looking down, I realized it was blood.

Antony's blood.

"I think you broke his nose," Cole said quietly.

Antony, on the other hand, was covering his bloody face with his hand.

"Don't judge me on my past when you don't know my whole story," I said, quietly.

"What is your story, Xandra?" Cole asked me.

I remained quiet.

"I tried protecting you, but you just don't want to get saved. You know what? I give up. James is coming back and he will get you, Xandra. No one can save you this time." Antony threatened me, as he walked away.

What he said, surely sent a shiver down my spine.

"Hey, it's okay. He wasn't serious." Cole tried comforting me.

I nodded at him.

I started walking away as well.

I noticed Cole catching up with me.

"Xandra?" He asked.

"Yeah?"

"I'm sorry about that day. I misunderstood you. I shouldn't have reacted that way."

I looked at Cole, shocked.

"Uh, and I'm sorry too. I mean, I shouldn't have ignored you." I said, looking at the ground.

"So...we're okay now?"

"Yeah."

"Great. I'm driving you home."

"What? No! You don't know how to drive properly."

He looked at me, offended.

"That's wrong. You just can't handle my oh-so-amazing driving skills." He stated.
