Laura, Taylor and Lily turned their backs to the dead body that laid on the ground. They huddled up next to Sarah and took their weeping friend in their arms. Sarah was fighting to get out of their arms and run towards her sister, her dead sister, that laid motionless on her own pool of blood. So much blood. Sarah was extremely nauseous to see so much blood ooze out of her sister, but she couldn't help but stare at her lifeless body. Taylor's shaking hand immediately got hold of her phone and she called 911, reporting about Rachel's death. Then, she made another call to Katherine's personal number which was given to all of them, in case there was an emergency. And the sight that was in front of them called for more than just an emergency. It was a tragedy for Sarah and her family, and anyone who knew Rachel and how great she really was. And it was a monstrosity on the behalf of the person who had killed Rachel because Sarah and the three of them knew that Rachel would never commit suicide. Never.

Since the police was on their way to the crime scene, Laura and Taylor began to apologize to the guests for such a tragic incident that they had to witness and asked them to go back inside the mansion. There was no way anyone was allowed to leave the place until the police said so, until the police was done with their job. While Laura and Taylor took care of their guests, Lily tightly hugged her girlfriend in her arms. Sarah buried her face into Lily's chest, not wanting to make eye-contact with her dead sister, whose eyes remained opened, full of sadness and regret instead of shock. As if she knew this was coming. Lily and Sarah were joined by Laura and Taylor and they stayed near the dead body until the police and the detective had arrived on the scene. The police officers hurried to the scene and immediately set up a parameter around the crime scene. Katherine's partner, Richard, was holding the police tape up so that Katherine could pass through. Acknowledging her partner, she entered the crime scene and her face was instantly shadowed with darkness when she saw Sarah and her friends, so upset.

Since the detective had arrived along with the police, the officers did not have any time to gather information from the guests of the party, or from the hosts of the party. Katherine and Richard made their eyes towards the women. Detective Bells offered her apologies before she began to ask some basic questions to them about the dead body, and even though Katherine was aware that it was Rachel, who the four of the women had suspected to be C, it was important that she followed protocol, at least, in front of her partner. Richard still was in the dark about the whole C thing. After asking the necessary questions, Katherine suggested that they headed inside the mansion. After the four of the best friends went inside, Katherine turned around to face the medical examiner, near the dead body, who was examining the body for scrapes, bruises and/or signs of sexual assault. The medical examiner also checked under the victim's finger nails and hair follicles for any evidences of the killer or anything that may point towards the crime.

"It's not suicide, is it?" Katherine's voice was low, but her partner and the medical examiner, for whom the question was meant, had heard her.

The ME (medical examiner) slowly glanced up at Katherine and shook her head, gravely. "No, she was murdered, in a very weird way as well."
