Brynn was finally back home in Pensacola with Joe, they weren't officially back together but there were definitely things that could have gone unsaid

Brynn was sad though, over the weekend that she was with Jon, she had been going through her phone's gallery, deleting some things, when her eyes caught a picture of Joe and Galina that she herself had taken

She remembered this picture like it was yesterday, she, Joe, Galina, Jon and Colby had gone out and over the course of the night, Fergal had joined them, Jon and Colby knew Joe and Brynn had a thing for each other so to see both of them suffer that night was extremely heart breaking

It was obvious cuz Brynn and Joe were sat with their respective partners and would steal glances at each other when they thought the other wasn't looking. Joe lost it when Fergal pulled her to the dance floor and was dancing her around while she laughed, when the song got slow, Joe was gripping the table until his knuckles turned white and when Fergal kissed her, it took a hand around Joe's wrist to stop him from punching Fergal's daylights out

They came back to the table hand in hand, Joe glowered as he came up with an idea

"Hey Brynn, can you take a picture of us?" He had asked, mentally smirking as her face fell and her eyes showed her sadness as she nodded and Joe and Galina posed

Brynn stared at that picture long and hard, Fergal and her were in the breakup stage, they were having problems but he was sticking around to see if they would be able to fix it but they hadn't been

Brynn sighed as she unlocked her front door and was met with Joe, asleep on the couch, beautiful

She walked over and sat by his hip and slowly leaned in to press a kiss to his lips. She pulled back and rubbed her thumb over his bottom lip and she watched fondly as a knowing smile spread across his face, and his eyelashes fluttered before his beautiful brown eyes were made available to her

Brynn bit the inside of her cheek as his eyes adjusted and he saw her sitting there, the biggest and widest smile that she loved, spread across his handsome face and she couldn't help it, his smile was contagious

"Hey baby," he greeted, his voice deep and husky with sleep, he yawned and sat up, leaning in to peck her lips

"How was the trip?" He asked pulling her into a hug after she replied

"We need to talk," she said, playing with her fingers and he sighed and nodded, leaning against the back of the sofa and then gesturing her to begin

"Well I've been thinking about you alot lately, and I really, really miss you, so I don't know if it's smart if we could, like get back together?" She asked and he smiled and there was a slight blush in his tan complexion

"I mean, she's not signing those papers, so it's only gonna get worse from here," he admitted sadly, and she took his hand

"We'll do it together Joe," she promised and he looked at her

"I love you," he told her, leaning in to kiss her

"I love you to," she replied after he pulled away

"So are we back together?" She asked

"Hell yeah, the dream team is back baby," he said and she pushed his shoulder and laughed

"You're so fucking cringe!" She complained but she was laughing

"But you still love me," he teased back and she smiled warmly

"I really do," she said and Joe blushed

That was something she loved to see, Joe's blush, it was innocent and sweet, just like his heart. She was so glad that they were back together, she was tired of spending nights alone. She loved this man and she'd be damned if she let anything come between them and keep them apart.

She'd get Galina to sign those annulment papers, even if it's the last thing she'll ever do, she'll get her to sign them and then, she's gonna marry Joe and have a whole bunch of kids. That's a mental promise she made to herself and to Joe.
