Jon and Colby were coming over later along with some friends from WWE for a small get together they were having at the house so Brynn and Joe were busy making all the preparations for an awesome night
The party was in motion and Brynn and Joe actually invited Galina to the party because they wanted Joelle to come but it would be fine as long as Galina didn't cause any trouble, unfortunately, that didn't happen, because at the cake cutting, of course she had to have an outburst.
"I can't believe I'm his wife and I don't get to cut cake with him!" She complained
"Ex wife," Joe replied unbothered
"Still. I should be allowed to cut the cake with you without that bitch being in the picture." Galina firmly said
"Get out." Joe said, face straight, Galina looked taken aback
"What?" She asked as though she hadn't heard him, Joe stood up and growled
"I said get out!" And she huffed and walked to the door
"Joelle, we're leaving." She called and looked at Joelle who was standing in the middle of the room
JOJO shook her head at her
"Joelle, I said come here!" She yelled but JOJO shook her head and Galina stomped over to her
"Listen to your mother when she speaks." Galina said, grabbing the child
"Mommy!" JOJO screamed and pulled away from Galina, running to Brynn
"Mommy," she said contented when she wrapped her arms around Brynn's hips
Everyone in the room mouth's dropped. Galina's hit the floor while Joe folded his arms, smiling
Tears filled Brynn's eyes as she slowly rested a hand on the little girl's back and smiled
Galina looked at Joe
"You'll pay for this." She warned, marching off and leaving
Brynn bent to JOJO's level and hugged her tight
"It's okay princess, I'm here now," sje consoled rubbing her back
"I love you mommy," JOJO said and Brynn looked up at Joe who was looking down at them with the utmost love in his eyes and grinned
And yeah, she decided she loved hearing a little voice calling her mommy, she loved seeing Joe look at her like she and this child were his world.
"I love you to princess." She replied kissing Joelle's hair
After the party was over, Jon and Colby were staying over and so was Joelle so when Brynn and Joe laid in bed together, Joe pulled her close
"Thank you for today babe, everything was so perfect." He said
"Even the Galina debacle?" Brynn asked, tracing patterns on his tattooed arm
"Even the Galina debacle because it made everyone realize that JOJO loves you like her mom and nothing makes me more happy. I love you Brynn," he spoke
Brynn's smile she gave him, melted his heart
"I love you to Joe," she replied and with one final kiss, they fell asleep
