Jon woke up to the smell of bacon frying and he stretched, yawning. He looked around and realized that he was on a couch, he looked into the kitchen where the smell was coming from and cast his eyes on Brynn at the stove and Joe had his arms wrapped around her and was saying something to her and she began laughing

And Jon smiled to, because hell, his best friends were so cute together and he knew they were meant to be together forever

Brynn smiled and turned around in Joe's arms and wrapped hers around his neck with a smile

Then she asked him something and he nodded with a smile and Brynn kissed him

Jon decided this was his moment to get up and make his presence known

Brynn looked over when he sat on one of the bar stools, her smile fell and she let go of Joe and turned back to the stove

Joe rubbed her shoulder and kissed her hair before going over to sit by Jon

"Heard you had a hell of a night," Joe said looking at Jon who shrugged

"Had alot on my mind." Jon admitted sighing when Brynn glanced at him

Brynn plated food for the three of them and they sat down. They talked, but Jon knew this was different from the conversations they would have when they were the two closest people ever but now that they had drifted apart, it was different

When they finished eating, Brynn looked at Jon

"Can I talk to you?" She asked and he nodded, a little scared of what she had to say to him

So two of them went out on the lanai when Joe went to watch re-runs of the football game he missed.

They stood across from each other

"I'm sorry." Jon cracked first and Brynn looked at him

"I should have never kept my wedding from you. I should have never ever kept anything from you B. I made the biggest mistake of my life, hiding this from you and I hate myself everyday because of it. I can't believe I fucked up this bad that you won't even talk to me. You've been through everything with me Brynn and I'm so thankful for that." Jon said, tears welled up in his eyes when he finished

"I'm just so sorry," he finished and when his voice cracked, Brynn immediately pulled him into her arms and hugged him tight, her own eyes began to water

"It's okay," she said

"It's okay," she repeated as he cried into his shoulder and she kept repeating it as they sank down the glass door and she rubbed his back until he stopped crying and then she didn't even let go

"I love you," he whispered and she smiled and nodded against his head

"I love you to," she replied and they just sat there for awhile until Renee called and he had to go

Brynn smiled and went back into the living room, looking at Joe and sidled up next to him, resting her head on his shoulder as he wrapped an arm around her and laid his head on top hers

"Thank you for making me listen to what he had to say." She smiled

"No problem baby," he replied

And truthfully, she was thankful that she and Jon were properly speaking again. She missed her best friend and she and him hadn't separated in 10 years and she prayed that they would never separate, for even the few days that she was mad at him, she was heartbroken.

She needed her best friend. Even a few hours apart, her heart couldn't take it. But she also knew that no matter what happened, they would always be there for each other even if they weren't on the best terms
