Joe and Colby had just arrived at her dad's house and Jon had arrived the night before. There was um, a bit of a problem
Stephanie had called earlier and told Brynn that her interview was pushed up to 10am and that she had to bring Jon along, which meant prolonging her talk with Joe. She didn't like it one bit, she wanted to just air all her grievances to him but now she'd have to air her grievances to the entire world
"You ready?" Jon asked, ruffling up his hair as he looked into the mirror, white shirt and blue jeans on
"Yeah just lemme talk to Joe real quick," she said and he nodded, going to the car to wait
"So I need to head to my interview now, can we talk when I get back?" She asked and Joe turned from where he was helping her dad cook and nodded, wiping his hands before coming over to her
"I know I've been kinda agitated lately but it's got nothing to do with you. I'm sorry. When you get back, we'll talk about everything." He assured her and she nodded, smiling when he took her face in his hands and kissed her forehead
"So getting away from your WWE life, let's get into your personal life, you both have been accused of doing drugs, how true was that?" The man asked, and Brynn looked at her phone as Jon began

"I don't know how much we're allowed to say, but yeah, me and Brynn both did drugs when we were younger, you always did do stupid things when you were young," he said and Brynn nodded
"Well, when my brother died, I just needed someway to cope and drugs were always there, we did like heavy duty stuff to, we'd do coke together and I did heroine on my own, it just took you to a place where you didn't care about reality," she explained
"The indy circuit we were working on at the time, didn't really care if you were drug free or not, once you could put on a show and jack some faces, then you're good." Jon said
"Him and I were dating in this time that we were doing drugs," Brynn explained, pointing at Jon who nodded
"The drugs were kinda making it hard though cuz when we weren't ourselves we would have tons of fights and arguments, never got physical, cuz he'd never hit a woman, but like, it definitely made it hard on our relationship," she explained
"What we'd do after was mind blowing though," he said and Brynn chuckled and slapped his arm
"Ohh," the interviewer said laughing as he caught on to what Jon was saying
"Are you both sober now?" He asked and Jon nodded
"Both of us are 100% completely sober. I know how hard we both worked to get sober, and I don't think that we'd ever go down that road again," Jon explained and Brynn nodded in agreement
"How did you both get sober?" He asked and Jon scratched his beard
"Brynn's story is better than mine, I just didn't wanna disappoint her since she had so much faith in me." Jon said and the interviewer looked at Brynn
