Brynn sighed as she felt her phone vibrating in her hand, she smiled as she saw Joe was calling her, she slid the answer and put him on loudspeaker
"Hi beautiful," she said and smiled when she heard him chuckle
"Hey babe, I won my match," he said and she smiled
"That's great," she replied going into the kitchen to pour a glass of orange juice
"I miss you," she heard and she smiled
"I miss you to, I'm flying out tomorrow, you're picking me up at the airport right?" She asked
"Yeah at 9, I should go and shower, Jon and I are gonna get a few beers or something and then head back to the hotel," he told her and she smiled sadly
"I can't wait to see you," she heard Joe say and she smiled widely
"Me either, well you can go get ready, have fun, I love you." She told him, grinning widely when his breath hitched
"I love you to, I'll be waiting at the airport with the a bunch of flowers," he promised her and she smiled and bade him goodbye before she sighed
Maybe this was for the best, as long as Renee and Jon were a thing, she would always fight with one of them. She and Jon would never be best friends again unless he and Renee split up, but she knew how much Jon loved her so maybe she'd never be Jon's best friend again but hey, she had Colby, who had been there for her since Jon wasn't
She sighed and went upstairs to finish packing and then take a bath and go to bed, she had a flight at 4am and she was already tired
-The Next Morning-
She had just gotten off the plane and walked into the airport, she saw Joe and smiled, he was taking a picture with a fan, flowers at his side, like he had promised, he hugged the girl and thanked her for being a supporter, she was crying, aw, cute.
She walked up to him, smiling when his eyes caught hers and she grinned widely
"Hi babe," he greeted her, leaning in to kiss her, he held her tight against himself as she kissed back
"For my lady," Joe said in a sauve voice, handing her the gorgeous flowers, she thanked him and kissed his cheek as he picked up her bag and carried it to the rental
She sighed as she buckled her seatbelt, flowers on her lap as Joe began driving. They kept conversation, she couldn't remember why she was sad anymore. Joe had been telling her stories of what happened the 3 days she hadn't been there and had her laughing. It was in moments like these, she realized just how much she loved Joe.
The happiness he brought her on a daily was one she hadn't known until him
"Wanna stop for some brunch?" Joe asked her and she smiled and nodded
He pulled into a cute little cafe and they walked in, holding hands
They had just eaten and were now thinking about dessert, Brynn had the biggest smile on her face, looking across the table at her beautiful man? The best feeling in the world
"What kind of cheesecake do you guys have?" She asked the server
"Right now we only have oreo," she said and just like that, the smile was wiped off of Brynn's face
"Would you like a slice?" She asked and Joe looked at Brynn
"No thank you. Um, can I just have a slice of black forest cake please?" She asked and the server nodded
Brynn sighed when she left and looked at Joe, then at their joined hands on the table
"Is breá liom tú," she whispered quietly, but he heard her and he grinned widely
"Oute alofa ia oe," he replied and now it was her turn to smile
"I should get that tattooed somewhere," she joked and he smiled
"You're cute," he said and she stuck out her tongue at him
"You're cuter." She replied and smiled when the waiter brought the slice of cake with two forks
"Figured you'd want to share," she said with a smile and they chuckled
Brynn smiled at Joe and brought up their entwined hands and pressed a kiss to his, making him smile as they shared the cake happily. This one man, took away all of her problems
When they got back to the hotel, Brynn took up her flowers and smiled
"Let me take a picture, you look so gorgeous right now," Joe said and took up Brynn's phone, typing in her password and smiling as she posed and he took the picture, it really was cute so she posted it
