Joe's family had just left and Brynn was sitting on the bed, packing her suitcase to get back to work when Joe flopped down on the bed on his stomach, she grinned and playfully shook her head and then looked at him when he sat up and began talking bout how wonderful the night was and how much his family loved her. Then he brought up a topic that was endlessly uncomfortable
"So do you actually think we'll get married?"
As soon as those words left his mouth, Brynn got steamed and she looked at him

"You literally bring marriage into every conversation," she said, her accent getting thicker as her blood pressure raised
"This is our future Brynn," Joe said, giving her a look of disbelief
"I know it is. But I'm not ready to get married and you bring it up all the time, knowing it makes me uncomfortable." She said standing up
"I know but- you're everything I want. I need to know that one day you'll be ready for me to be your husband and the father of our kids. I need to know that one day you'll say yes when I ask you to become my wife," Joe said seriously
Brynn didn't know why the little speech Joe just made had her smiling

She got into his lap and wrapped her arms around his neck while his went around her waist
"I love you more than anything Joe, and of course I want to get married and have a family with you but I need to make sure I'm actually what you want." She said and Joe immediately responded
"You ARE everything I want, and more." He said, showing nothing but seriousness and passion
"No Joe," she whispered, smiling at him, while she continued packing clothes
"You deserve the best wife and someone who's perfect and nice and kind and who will never hurt you and who'll be the best mother to your kids," she said and then she took a breath and smiled
"I don't know if I could ever be that for you," she revealed and Joe shook his head
"Brynn, you are more than enough and I don't need anyone besides you, I love you," and when Joe said that, another smile crossed her face

Joe then got up and tackled her on the bed making her laugh as he hovered over her and she grabbed his arms and smiled as his hair curtained around them
"I love you," he said, pecking her lips making her chuckle
"And I love you," she replied, smiling as he continued kissing her
