Brynn and Joe weren't needed until next week so they flew to their home in Pensacola. They've been home for a day and already, Joe's parents were over. Now don't get her wrong, she loves Tricia and Sika but it's just a little overwhelming
Tricia and Sika had been there for about 4 hours now and Brynn had been up and down serving drinks and food and snacks and she was just really tired
She went up to their room and changed into her bikini and walked back downstairs, watching as the 3 in the kitchen looked at her and Joe's breath hitched and his eyes traced the length of her body
She picked up her phone and went and sat outside by the pool and sighed. This is exactly what she needed, until the door opened and she rolled her eyes behind her sunglasses, of course someone was gonna bother her but she smiled when she saw Sika
"Are you okay afa'fine?" He asked calling her daughter in samoan native
"Yeah it's just-" she began but was cut off
"You two just got back and you'd like to spend some quality time with Leati?" He said guessing her thoughts
"I'm sorry, it's really selfish of me." She said and Sika shook his head
"No, it's not. It's understandable, you guys are on the road so much and I know how that is, when you get home, you just wanna be with each other, we shouldn't have come as soon as you guys got here." Sika said smiling warmly
"I just didn't want to make this a problem, because you know I love you guys and I don't want it to seem as if I don't." Brynn said sighing
"We know you love us but we shouldn't have been intruding." Sika replied
"Believe me, you aren't intruding. It's just that I know that Joe gets insecure with this whole marriage and kids thing so this is the time to show him I still love him." She said and no, it wasn't weird. They were both adults and they both understood the importance of intimacy.
"You should've told us manamea," Tricia said behind Brynn, holding onto a blushing Joe
Brynn smiled
"Thanks guys," she said to them
It was about 2 hours later when they left and Joe finally sat by the pool with Brynn
"I'm sorry they were so overwhelming." Joe said, pulling off his sunglasses to look at her
"It's okay love. I just wanted to spend some time with you." She revealed, reaching over to hold his hand, smiling at the tattoo on his ring finger
"What is this?" She asked, rubbing her finger softly on the ink
Joe blushed again
"I got it about 3 days ago, um, I know that you aren't ready for marriage or anything yet, but this is to show that I'll only ever wanna marry you," he said looking at the inscription on his ring finger
"You like it?" He asked, putting out his hand for her to see

"It's beautiful." She smiled and then leaned over to kiss him
"You're beautiful." He whispered against her lips
He took a picture of her to post on his instagram and he smiled when he looked at the picture. This girl was a beauty and she was all his.

"Oute alofa ia oe," he replied and Brynn smiled back as they met in another kiss. And this? Was EXACTLY what she wanted. Some time alone with her favourite person, this was happiness.
