I know what I said... and I know why she's acting so strange.

To be honest, I didn't mean to let those words slip out of my mouth, they just kind of came out without me meaning to.

I don't regret saying them, I just wish she felt the same.

Over time... I came to really care about her and the baby, even though I've tried to deny it countless times. Jo was this annoying, obnoxious, occasionally rude and naggy girl who I fell hopelessly in love with.

I decided it was best if I just acted like it never happened, then maybe things might go back to the way they were.

But I can't deny the feeling everytime I'm around her.

No... that will stay with me for, quite possibly forever.

He sat towards the back of the room, watching as more and more people began to show up to the house. The pile of gifts began to grow at an alarming rate as the people added on to the already "too pink" room.

He couldn't blame them, though; she was having a baby girl.

He was the outsider at the shower, all of the people surrounding Jo with smiles and laughs and hugs.

She has so much love and support... could he give her the same?
