You walked down the street smiling. You were going through your normal, everyday routine and you noticed that there wasn't anyone around. There was only the sound of a passing car every so often. It made you wonder if you had gotten up earlier today or if something was going on that you didn't know about. You simply shrugged and continued walking. Just as you were rounding the corner of the street you heard a car engine and some shouting. You couldn't understand what the people were saying but you could tell that the car was getting closer to you. Once you finally understood what the people were saying you realized what must be happening.

"Move!"  Someone shouted.

But before you could move, you felt somebody slam into you and pull you to the side. You collided wth the ground and let out a pained groan. You sat up and heard two people panting.

"What's wrong with you?"  One of them asked.

"I thought that could be obvious."  You said standing up.

"We just lost the murderer now. You should've seen that car coming!"  He shouted at you.

"Oh, yes. My mistake. I should have..seen that car coming."  You said complete sarcasm in your voice.

"Yes. You should have."  He said.

You heard the other one sigh and you imagined him shaking his head. He could tell what was wrong with this conversation.

"Sherlock."  The second man said.

"What?"  The first man, whose name was apparently Sherlock, asked.

"You need to apologize."  The man said.

"Why?  It was we fault!  She should be apologizing."  He said.

"Oh right.  I'm sorry that I didn't see that car coming."  You said and heard the second man snort a laugh.

The man sighed, "No, Sherlock. You have to apologize."

"No I don't John.  This idiot was so blind she didn't see that car!"  Sherlock shouted.

"Oh!  Ding, ding, ding!  Look who finally got smart!"  You said smirking.

There was silence from Sherlock and you knew he was looking at you confused.

"I don't understand."  Sherlock said.

"Sherlock, you idiot!  She's blind!"  John shouted.

Once again, there was silence from Sherlock. You stood there trying so hard not to laugh. He then cleared his throat and you knew that meant he was going to start talking.

"Uh, I am sorry for blaming you for that incident. I should have noticed that you were blind. I'm sorry."  Sherlock said.

You smiled, "It's alright. I guess you were so blind that you couldn't see that I was blind."  You said and heard him laugh a little.

"Yes I suppose I was."  Sherlock said. "Now, we have a murderer to catch, John. Goodbye uh..." He trailed off and you realized that you'd never told them your name.

"Oh!  I'm y/n y/l/n."  You said.

"Goodbye, y/n."  Sherlock said.

"Bye!"  You said.

You heard their footsteps get farther and farther away until you knew they were gone. You walked away with a smile on your face. You hoped that you would see them again. And as fate would have it...you did.
