Right down my husband Daniel is trying to get on my daughter Emmalynn good side. Emmalynn isn't Daniel's daughter so she doesn't really like him. I would understand why but Daniel has tried everything. Hopefully what he has planned today will work...
*Daniel's P.O.V.*
Today I have something special planned for my step-daughter. Me and her aren't really on the good side so I'm hoping this will work. I tell my wife to keep her occupied upstairs while I call the boys over. We set up some balloons and streamers and set up everything else. She's three so I called over some people who dressed up as Disney princesses and they could play and take pictures.
I walk upstairs and tell Donna that everything is ready. She puts a blindfold on her and carries her downstairs. All the princesses are in the living room and Donna and Emmalynn reach the bottom of the stairs. I put my hands together praying this will work. Donna takes the blindfold off and Emmalynn puts her hands on her mouth. "CINDERELLA" she screams as she runs to them. She gives them each a hug and runs to Donna. "Thank you mommy" she says. "Don't thank me it was Daniel's idea" she says pointing at me. I smile at her and she just stares at me. She smiles and runs to me. I pick her up and she gives me a hug. I hug her tight and she thanks me. Finally I won this little girl's heart.
We have a fun day and we have a mini party in the backyard. Best day ever with my Wife and Stepdaughter.
