Just Fine

-2 year later- (Wes and Alex are 3.)

[Dianna's POV]

"Happy Birthday Alex and Wes!" I exclaimed happily. "Thanks mama." Wes said while playing with his shirt. "Thanks mama." Alex copied. "You guys want presents?" Lea asked while Demi, Naya, Kal, Chris, Darren, Mark, Amber, and Heather walked in. "Yeah!" Both boys said in exitement. Everybody laughed and they opened presents. "Cool! I get car!" Wes says while getting distracted by other presents. "Cool! I get car!" Alex copies. Alex didn't really get to express his feelings, he just copied his brother, Which was normal for kids who have down's syndrome, but I've always been more careful with him. Lea's voice shook me out of my thoughts. "Babe, can you go help Alex change again, he wet himself, I'm gonna go check on the guests." She said giving me a kiss on the cheek. "Yeah, sure, No problem." I said smiling. I picked up Alex, Put him on my lap, And wheeled us into his room. I kissed his soft hair, laid him down on his bed and changed him. We've tried potty training, but he just can't seem to get it right, So we decided to go to diapers until we feel he's ready. "Happy Birthday babyboy." I said picking him up into my arms. "Mama." He replied while playing with my hair. "I love you." I said happily. "I love you." He copied. "Sleep." He added. "On your birthday?" I asked. He nodded and I just cradled him in my arms and hummed him a lullaby. I wheeled out with him on my shoulders sleeping. "Shh...Guys, Baby's sleeping." I said while everyone looked at Alex like he was the cutest little puppy ever or something. "He's so adorable." Demi said while having one hand holding Kal, and one hand holding Naya's hand. "He's precious." I whispered as Lea kissed me on the cheeks. "where's Wes?" I asked her. "He's getting along with the other kids, He's doing just fine on socializing." Lea said smiling. "That's good, While this guy here will be staying near mama." I said while kissing Alex on his head while he was sleeping away in my arms. "Yup. But, He too, Is just fine." She said kissing me and then him.
