I quickly lifted her up and ran to my car putting her in the back I drove as quickly as I could to the ER I took her outta the car and rushed inside...

"someone help me!" two nurses ran up to us...

"What happened to her"she asked while putting her on a roller

"She was being ganged up on by a group of girls by the time i got there they ran off and she blacked out"

"Her last name?"

"I'ma have to ask you to stay out here sir" with that they push her off leaving me alone with my thoughts

With that I ran back outside to my car grabbing her bookbag looking and hoping I'll find something to help me after a few seconds I found nothing "Shit!" I was about to close the door when I heard a phone ringing looking round in the backseat I found it under the car seat I answered it without even checking caller ID

"Hello!"

"Oh um sorry I think I dialed the wrong number"

"No wait! Your looking for Tamia right?"

"That's right, who's this"

"then you got the right number and I'm Kevin a friend of Tamia's is this her mom?"

"My baby has a friend that's wonderful and yes this is she can I speak to her for a moment please?"

"Ms...."

"Cambpell."

"Ms. Cambpell, um Tamia is in the hospital, she was ganged up by some girls when I found her I brought her straight here....Ms. Campbell you there?"

"Which hospital" she whispered

"St. Ann's"

"I'm on my way" with that she hung up

20 minutes later

Sitting in the waiting area I kept looking at the door to see if I could spot Tamia's mom even though I had no idea what she looked like, this shit crazy here I am in the hospital place I told myself I'd never step foot into again for a girl I didn't even know

I sigh looking back at the door I see a short older version of Tamia I walked up to her before she could say anything to the nurse at the front desk and said

"Ms. Campbell? I'm Kevin"

"Yes Kevin, how is she" she asked with tears in her eyes

"I don't know they won't tell me nothing since I'm not family"

Before I could said anything she turn around and walk back to the front desk

"Excuse me miss, my daughter was brought her can you give me a update on her status please her names Tamia Campbell"

The nurse held up a finger since she was on the phone, a few seconds later Ms. Cambpell grabbed the phone slamming it down

"I SAID I WANT A GODDAMN UPDATE ON MY DAUGHTER'S CONDITION THE NAME'S FUCKING TAMIA CAMPBELL!"
