Delilah's POV

I groggily rolled over and switched the annoying hissing sound of my alarm off. Why did it have to be 6 in the morning on Monday already? I closed my eyes again, reminiscing over the extraordinary weekend I've had in a while. I heard another annoying beeping sound, I swung my arm over and hit the alarm again, I kept smacking it but the noise was still disrupting my sleep. I rolled over again and peered over at my bedside table. My phone was there flashing, indicating I had a message. I regret not putting it on silent, but nevertheless I picked it up and winced at the brightness of the screen. I had three messages, all from the same person; Riley.

The first one read; 'I thought the ending was slightly ruined, it could have been more dramatic.' I had fallen asleep in the middle of our conversation about Harry Potter, I felt slightly guilty but the next text relieved of any guilt.

'I see you've fallen asleep, you need your beauty sleep. Sleep tight x.' I couldn't help but aww at how cute he was.

The third one read; "Morning beau, have a good day at school x." He called me beau, because he thought beautiful was too cliché, I didn't care, it was still special to me. I didn't reply yet, I felt like getting up straight away for once, I was in a good mood in the morning, something was definitely wrong with me.

"You're up early, are you ill?" My dad joked as I walked in the kitchen almost an hour earlier than normal.

"Nope." I said popping the 'p'.

"You're in a good mood, what's up?" He asked sceptically.

"Nothing." I replied whilst I placed my chocolate pop tarts in the toaster.

"Do you want something?" He said, narrowing his eyes at me.

"No." I replied chirpily.

"Something's up." He concluded and replaced his newspaper in front of his face.

"Mmm" I replied, not really concerned about his early morning questioning. My mum literally had a heart attack when she walked in and saw I was awake and even downstairs, she had to do a double take. My pop tarts jumped up and brought yet another smile to my face. It was very rare that I was up early enough to have breakfast. I sat around the kitchen island with my parents while the news was broadcasting in the background. I chewed happily on my breakfast when my phone vibrated in the back of my pocket. I took it out and read the screen. It was just an unknown caller, probably trying to sell some stupid insurance which I don't need.

"Avoiding someone?" My mum asked.

"No." I said, shovelling more food into my mouth.

"You don't have some fancy prancy boyfriend we don't know about do you?" my dad asked. I couldn't help but laugh at his terminology.

"No, course not." I said, I couldn't help but think of Riley, something I had been doing a lot of recently. I could see Riley as my boyfriend, he was just like me, however I don't know whether he sees me as girlfriend material.

"It would explain why you're so happy this morning." He said, his eyes still fixed on me.

"Sheesh! Can't I be happy for once?! Do you like seeing me depressed?!" I practically yelled as I stormed back to my room, in my usual morning bad mood.

I sat in my room watching the minutes slowly tick by. See this is why I didn't get up early, it was boring, there's nothing to do this early in the morning. Finally my mum called me down, signalling it was time to leave. About time too, I was about to just give up and go back to sleep.

I reached school slightly earlier than normal. I headed straight to the empty form room, the school was practically deserted, it was sorta creepy but it was pretty cool to be able to roam the corridors without getting your books thrown out of your hand or a locker slammed in your face. I sat at my usual desk next to the window. The old willow tree outside suddenly became very interesting when I had nothing else to do. It suddenly hit me that I had totally forgotten to reply to Riley, I hoped he didn't think I was ignoring him. I snatched my phone out of my pocket and opened up a new text message.

'Good morning yourself, I fell asleep last night or should I say morning, sorry. I doubt it will be a good day at school, it's school, there's nothing good about it. x' I typed out and hit the send button. I hadn't noticed but while I had been typing the classroom had dramatically filled up, I didn't send the 'populars' my usual scowl, I wasn't focused on them anymore, I was waiting eagerly for my phone to light up again. After a slow minute passed by, my phone finally vibrated.

'It doesn't have to be bad, give me 10 minutes x.' He replied, I had no idea what he meant.

'What for? x' I asked. I once again sat waiting impatiently for my phone to notify me of a new message. When he replied he totally ignored my question.

'What room are you in? x' He asked, which led me to confusion. I looked up before I replied to make sure the teacher still wasn't present. Luckily he wasn't, he was late for once. I knew Riley had been to this school 2 years ago when he was still a school student, he attended university now.

'The one next to the music room, why? x' I replied, still puzzled. 5 minutes later and I still had no reply and the teacher still wasn't here yet, I sighed and leaned back. I'd given up hope of my prince charming rescuing me from this hell. Eventually my phone buzzed waking me up from my trance.

'Look outside x' Was all he replied, I was slightly confused at first but nevertheless I turned my head to the right and looked out. Stood next to the willow tree I was once focused on was Riley, smiling and waving at me. I couldn't help but smile and wave back until I saw my phone vibrating again. 'Well, what you waiting for? Come on x' He sent. I couldn't help but smile. I didn't care about school right now, in fact screw school. I picked up my bag, still no teacher present and headed for the door. I noticed the odd looks I was getting. Half the class was lined up at the window, eager to see what was going on out there.

Harry's POV

She just walked out, without a care in the world and without looking back. I looked out the window and saw her walk up the random boy, he looked older than us but only by a couple of years but still I had no idea who he was. I still hadn't been able to get her out of my head since the party and it was eating away at me. It even slightly annoyed me that she didn't give me her usual scowl or at least pay me any attention this morning. They greeted each other with a hug, I felt something shoot through my body, a feeling I hadn't experienced much of but I knew exactly what it was; jealousy. I hated this feeling, why was I feeling it? I didn't care about her, I reminded myself constantly. Most of the class was now intrigued to what was going on outside. I could see a tint of red on her cheeks; he clearly knew all the right words to say. She then did something no-one at school had ever seen, she took her hair out of her usual messy updo. I couldn't believe how long her dark brown locks were, they reached three quarters of the way down her back. Most people just assumed she wore her hair up all the time because it was short and unsightly. However it was the opposite, blowing in the wind, her hair looked, dare I saw flawless? They didn't stick around for long, she couldn't risk being seen by the teachers, they walked off out of school together. Not holding hands but who knows what they would get up to.

"You alright?" Louis asked patting my back as he took his seat after watching the little show outside the window.

"Yeah, fine." I said, lying through my teeth. The teacher then walked in, making my mood even worse. I sighed heavily and leaned back which granted me sceptical looks from my peers.
