Chapter 51
I wander through the forest, holding the sword. I hear a branch snap and someone whisper. My eyes widen and I gasp. I begin to run and try to get back to the cave, but get lost on the way. I get cornered by the group of careers, Slate, Satin, Bolt, Ermin, and Alana. They all had the weapons they were well experienced with when I only had a sword.
"Where's Peeta." Satin hisses teasingly.
"He's coming!" I growl.
"Oh really, where is he?" Alana cuts in.
"Peeta!" I scream but I know I'm to far for him to hear.
"You liar!" Slate yells. His tone scares me. I think of Willow back home, and how I may never see her again. A excruciating pain goes across my stomach making me scream and fall to the ground in pain, I scream knowing my life is going to end if they get me again. I watch as Alana raises her spear.
"Alana no, she's as good as dead." Slate commands, she lowers her weapon and they leave. I cry and scream in pain, if I didn't stop the bleeding soon, I would die of blood loss.
