Heading towards the alpha's office, I questioned why I was called to see him alone - he couldn't possibly be giving me a lecture as well right? As I knock on the door I could hear the alpha on the other side of the door. "Come in" His low and manly voice gives me the permission and entering his room I kept my head looking forward seeing his figure sitting on his chair as he signs some documents I couldn't help but look around his room awkwardly.

Hearing his pen scratching against the wooden table through the papers he's signing I stayed in silent as I arched my chest forward to stretch my back after sitting with Julie and just gossiping and just as I was doing so the alpha just had to look up catching me. Awkward. "Take a seat Raine" The alpha stretches out his hand and points at the chair in front of his working desk, only to smile at him with an embarrassed smile I took the seat. This is too formal. "Ummm…." I started as he stares at me "So did you need something?" I asked but then realised that sounded absolutely rude, shit. I heard alpha's are really strict when it comes to respect… "I called you in because- no actually I am calling you here on behalf of his majesty, the king" The alpha began as I nodded but really you can tell I had no interest in this royal business anymore.

"His majesty asked you especially to take a main part in this training course" Blank expression is on my face on the outside but inside I'm already going through about twenty different emotions but the first one has to be shock. What is this king playing at? "What we say in here, stays in here. Do you understand?" Hearing such serious words I could only nod and wait for the alpha to start speaking again. "As you are aware, our current queen isn't the king's true mate. His mate - our late queen died whilst going through childbirth remember?" "She died along with the unborn child didn't she?" I asked knowing that there's something wrong with the way the alpha is speaking the way he is looking at me is making me having every kind of thought - yet the main question is why am I in whatever I'm in right now? I'm only eighteen I barely lived a life yet!

"She died. Though the child did not die. This is only known between the royal family and alpha's of the four packs" The hell you telling me then? Do you want me to get killed or something? Rolling my eyes in my mind and not doing it physically I carried on listening. "This child was raised in the dark, and the king said that this child grew up to be very scared of people and barely speaks. The king wants him to start making friends and he believes you're the perfect candidate" "Wait, him? and me? A perfect candidate? Woah, sorry alpha I think the king is counting on the wrong person" I got up ready to leave but the alpha using his alpha tone stops me and makes me sit back down and much to my disliking I could only listen.

Great

"Raine, I've watched you grow up you're like a daughter to me and I know very well about your personality, if you promised something you will do it. Then again if you don't want to do it no one can force you - unless it's your mother. Believe my words when I say I originally didn't agree to this however the king has second thoughts… about Nathan" By his tone of voice I analysed the situation - purely the king wouldn't just send his son here for nothing, he planned this from the beginning. That sly wolf.

"If Nathan fails to recognise it's the werewolf community that makes up the kingdom, I suppose the king wants to have another prince who he can count on. So on the outside this 'training' is for Nathan but it's actually for two. I suppose the king wants me to help this 'other' prince to speak up a bit more" The alpha chuckles hearing my words and tapped his temple "This is why you're a perfect candidate. You're always quick and witty, I can't possibly think of someone else better to do this" Suddenly feeling a gush of pride I couldn't help but let the smile creep up onto my lips, if I could do this properly I could potentially earn a name for myself. I won't be the boring eighteen year old, not anymore. "I'll take this challenge, I want to do this, for me and for the pack - after this mother won't be able to complain anymore - yes!" Like as if I just scored a goal I jumped up from my chair causing the alpha to chuckle as he slowly stands up as well "That's the spirit. Before you do, I have something else to tell you; things you should know. Firstly the two prince's are going to be located at the west wing, no one will be allowed to go there unless given permission to. You, Raine will be given permission to go there at any time, you can also bring others with you whenever you want. Second, prince Nathan is the only one who is officially prince, so the other prince is merely under the title: son of the royal minister. Thirdly, both prince's will be trained by our trainers - yet since the second prince is unable to shift due to not finding his mate he will take a less tougher training compared to Nathan. Fourthly and lastly, Raine please don't always get in fights with prince Nathan. I know you two will be like cats and dogs" Rolling my eyes at the last one I was then allowed to go out the office, stretching again I rolled my head around to sooth the muscles around me stiff neck. "Right, let's go and do some introduction" I smiled as I headed towards the west wing.

After about twenty flights of stairs, and a maze of hallways I came to the entrance of the west wing, just last week I was working my ass off cleaning for these two. Taking a step in I carried on walking down the fancy hall way, the silence was broken by the faint sounds of my shoes clacking against the wooden floor. "Damn, every room looks just about the same" I cursed but it wasn't long that my sensitive nose caught a mouthwatering scent of food - what it was I couldn't quite figure out. As I followed it, I realised I entered to the living room of the west wing, hearing a few clanks of metal I headed towards the attached kitchen. Perhaps it is the royal chef, I suppose it isn't wrong for royalty to bring a personal chef… Peasant like food isn't good enough I suppose.

"You've been at it for about half an hour now - are you done yet?"

My nerve twitches when I hear Nathan's voice possibly annoyed at the chef. Taking a step closer I hear a chair moving I suppose my presence is known so making a bold move I charge to the front and came face to face with Nathan who is looking at me with a smirk hiding his dislike for me "Looks like we have something here came here to say sorry?" Watching his smirk widen I ignored him and took a deep breath in of the mouthwatering scent, with Nathan blocking me I had no choice but to answer "Sorry? Keep dreaming, the only thing you will be getting is another slap" Crossing my arms he stares at me intensely with his honey coloured eyes "I always thought peasants like you prefer to suck up to royals, looks like you just want to catch my attention by being different" Taken back by his comment I could only step back in disgust "Please, you're only the prince of BIG EGO" I retaliated - look it's been what? 5 minutes we're already at each other's necks. Imagine eight months…

"Forget it, I don't want to waste my time on trash like you" Ready to slap him again my hand was caught in mid air. No, not by Nathan's hands in fact he is now kneeling in pain on the ground as I struggled to move my hand, looking up to see what is stopping me I only see a ring of water constraining me and there was a diversion of water that formed like a fist by Nathan's stomach. "What the-" I followed the source of this water and only to land my eyes on a tall figure, carrying a bowl of water in his hands - his face is flawless, much better than Nathan, they have the same honey coloured eyes but his ones were much more deeper - yet they were also just as empty as the expression on his face.

"Noah, what do you think you're doing?!" Nathan yells as he stands back up as the water retreats back in the bowl, Noah heads back to the counter and starts to add water to another bowl "I need to add another 100 ml of water…" His voice is manly and deep with a hint of mysteriousness however it wasn't time to figure how hot he sounds and looks but actually figure how the hell he just controlled the water before.

"Cook, all you ever do is cook! Just got a punch in my stomach for no reason, you better explain" Nathan grabs Noah's shoulder making his turn to him but after looking at Noah who is giving him nothing but silence Nathan pushes him back "First I get thrown out the palace, and now here. I need to cool down" Nathan pushes pass me by knocking into my shoulder but I couldn't resist but treat it like a tug war as I fight back with strength not letting him win. Just when I know he's putting the most strength I step back making him almost fall over "I'm hot but you didn't have to fall head over heels" I smirked with victory but then noticed the my shoulder was aching, stinging in fact. So looking at my shoulder my clothing that was over my shoulder was burnt and a red burnt mark was visible on my bare skin. "We're drawing" Nathan smirks before exiting the room - the hell is going on? First is water now is - Wait. Royals posses a greater ability than normal werewolves because they are the purer bloodline- "We're brothers" Noah's voice tears through my thoughts making me look at him quickly as he stirs the pan as it is cooking under the fire "I see-"  I paused and walked over to him and holding out my hand I put on my smile "I'm Raine, nice to meet you" Waiting for his answer I could see him stare at my hand and then glances back up at me, staring at me with locked on eye contact I try to reassure him through my eyes, nudging my hand to urge him to take it he simply switches off the fire and places the lid on the pan and walks out the kitchen.

Looks like it's going to be harder than it is.
