A few days had gone by since Y/N had moved into Kara's newest apartment she bought for herself and him too, maybe Glace but she lives rent free in the Guardian's pocket dimension backpack.

Currently, the Girl of Steel is seen flying high above the clouds, eyes closed as she soars through the skies with her arms expressed out like she had wings, smiling happily as she listens toward the city below.

She's made quite a reputation since showing up in New York, making a difference in a way also as Supergirl, but she wondered...

Should she get herself a secret identity to blend in with Humans? Maybe get a job to pay up the rent herself instead of having to rely on a reliable source?

The question had been boggling her mind the last few days after Y/N mentioned getting recognized a lot in public, due to him showing his face every single time.

The glasses trick surely would work? Nope... He refused, he didn't quite understand how in the world or "Traveler" he put it, that worked at all... Kara had quite the giggle out of it.

"Nothing better than soaring through the skies on a sunny day" Supergirl spoke to herself, or so it seemed like it... She heard a small chuckle within her communicator.

"The only thing that keeps me in the air... Is my ship, I ain't no Warlock that can glide or do what Ikora can do" Y/N seemed to complain about it, making the Girl of Steel smirk.

"Jealous much?" she teased before giggling at the Guardian's groan. "What? Just asking".

"Nah it ain't that" he responded. "Found more Hive, they've dug themselves deep into a cavern" he explained his frustration.

"Need help? Might need some Girl Power" she asked, offering to help... However, he was on the other side of the world at the moment, though Supergirl can fly over to him in seconds if she wanted.

"Nah, it's not much... Just a small batch, nothing that I can't handle. What're you doing right now?" he then asked her as she sighed happily.

"Isn't it obvious?" she asked with a smug look. "Flying high and mighty above New York, patrolling the city, already helped some folk but no crimes as of yet" she began to sound bored.

"Seems... Boring, just like Cayde getting stuck on the tower as Hunter Vanguard... Couldn't be me".

"You think I chose the wrong kinda place where we could live?" Kara then asked, continuing to fly off again with her fist in front of her. "Not that I don't like New York... It can seem... Like less activity is around here, y'know?".

"If this was the Last City? You'd say the same thing" he deadpanned, shooting some incoming Thrall with his sniper.

"Well... I haven't exactly seen it yet, since it's... In your world".

"Well, ask Glace sometime and she can pop up a hologram of the city, it's huge, lots of people in it... They might like you come to think of it" he continued.

"Hmm, if I ever get to interact with them" Y/N found Kara's words doubtful, but he did hope something could be done nonetheless, before Kara could continue the conversation, her super hearing picks up activity that seemed to be a crime. "Ah finally! Something to punch".

"Crime?" he asked.

"Yep, I'll talk with ya later, we can catch up on anything weird... If it happens" she responded while soaring down from the clouds, her cape billowing behind her heroically.

"Yeah, I suppose so... Good luck!" he gave her a good omen before tabbing out the comms.

Supergirl had burst herself forward with more speed as she flew past the skyscrapers, using her super hearing to find the commotion with a woman screaming for help, a couple of thugs seeming to bother her.
