Ch.26 - First Kisses

To say Kara was happy was an expression that was common to see on Kara alone, but she was more than just happy.

Prior to her... Condition due to the Kryptonite Poisoning, effecting her mind but the effects seem to numb when around Y/N... He and his Ghost came up with something that could help her fight it until a cure for her condition was found and made.

For Y/N? It seemed to be a little something... In return for what she gave him a while back, a device that allows him to maneuver in space, with an invisible force bubble that surrounds him and anything nearby to allow to breath within... Curtesy of Kryptonian technology...

Or what was left of it back at the Fortress of Solitude.

(11am in the morning)

"Y/N... Are you sure, this? Is going to help me with my condition??" a puzzled Kara Zor-El had asked him about the 'gift' he gave her. Which was before he left to speak to Praedyth about the Vex Network.

"Yeah! I sure hope it does, made it in the short time I had last night, Glace helped too" he smiled. "You like it?" he hoped to the Traveler that Kara did as Glace nodded in Kara's direction.

It was a bracelet, made out of a bit of his comforting fabrics and spare armor plates, fitted with a small white Ace of Spades logo in the middle, the bracelet being black like his armor was.

"I mean..." she looked at it as a little smile crept up her face. "It's... Not the colors I would've picked but... I like it" she put it over her wrist. "Even if it doesn't help with my condition" she planted a small kiss on his cheek upon finishing her sentence, making his face warmly blush.

"Well, at least you like it" he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Hey, so... About our date tonight" she wrapped her arms around the crook of his neck. "I have a few ideas where we could go" she gave him a devious smirk, getting him curious.

"I'm listening" he smirked back.

"It's a surprise" she giggled lightly. "Can't exactly spoil it, can't I?".

"Eh... You're no fun" he huffed, before his cheek was kissed again with rapid speed.

"I am pure sunshine and rainbows fun" she corrected him, before her super hearing picked up something, danger within Mexico of a reported Hurricane tearing down civilization.

"What's wrong?" he noticed worry on the girl's face after she pushed a strand of her blonde hair behind her ear.

"Danger in Mexico, a Hurricane. Gonna rush over there now" she unwrapped her arms off his neck and speeded into costume, still wearing the bracelet. "You coming?".

"To fend off a Hurricane?" he backed up. "That's a job for Supergirl" he praised his girlfriend. "Me? I gotta speak with Praedyth, he's found something that could be useful in my future endeavors".

"Oh? Well... I'll see you tonight then? Meet me at Kelby's Restaurant" she approached and gave the Guardian a peck on the cheek a third time, making him smile more.

"Oh? So that's where we're going?" he gave her a smirk which she giggled.

"Don't ruin it for yourself" she gave him a wink in return before flying out the window...

Now she was sitting on the couch, hearing Cassandra Sandsmark babble on about Kara's date and the date she could've been on with, prior to making his debut some time ago.
