He was shocked at my outburst, hell so was I.
The look he bore contained many emotions: sadness, hurt, confusion, his eyes looked as if he had no hope, and as quickly as I saw them, I lost them, his emotionless façade came right back up.
"Oh, I'll return you back to the life you were suppose to have, in three days." He said as he started the engine back up, and started driving back the way we came.
I don't know why, but his expression hurt me. I felt horrible, I didn't mean 'no' as in 'no chance', I meant no because he asked me if I believed he was a monster, I don't believe he is. I felt my heart tighten in my chest knowing in three days, I would lose him... and I don't understand why.
I could speak up and give him a chance, or stay quite and get the life I wanted back.
Did I still want it? Should I speak up? Or should I keep quite?
