In this world, there is always one type of man who does not want to improve themselves. They care only for themselves, in whatever means possible. They make their life goal to be kept as a lover, and they will use their lovers up until they have no more use.

Self Reliant System: Our goal is to rise up! Our goal is to persevere! We must be self sufficient and self reliant!

When numerous souls have been bound by the system to enter into the bodies of those who only rely on their lovers, what could this lead to?

In other words, this is a main character transmigrating into a scummy human being, and creating his own destiny kind of story.

Impressions: ​I've read this before and I really liked it. But forgot to review so rereading it.

Stories are stand-alone (different couples), the only thing consistent is the System. It's a System that prevents the gong MC from being a Kept Man XD

Arc 1 - Rebirth of a Poor Phoenix Man (Chapter 1-38) - Rebirth. Poor man gong MC gets together with a rich shou while in college. Later enters shou's company, uses shou's trust to seize the company from him. Became sincere to shou this time.

Arc 2 - Transmigration into a Poor (Top) Protagonist Marrying into A Higher Status Family (Chapter 39-61) - Transmigration to ancient times. MC becomes a poor scholar who married into the General's household. Same as previous MC, he also loves money~~ Quite eloquent, shou also has a violent temper but is easily coaxed by his sweet mouth.

Arc 3 - A Hooligan Top who Only Has Antis as Fans X A Not Very Famous No-Namer Celebrity (But Really the Ultimate Boss) Bottom (Chapter 62-88) - Entertainment circle. MC is NOT a Kept Man. Former martial artist gong MC becomes a celebrity whose 'persona' is to have a bad attitude to everyone. MC's personality is kinda like that ^^; so he has no problem playing the role, gets fans instead.

Arc 4 - Malicious Ghost Bottom X A Scumbag of a Top who Only Wants to Be a Kept Man (Chapter 89-108) - *sniff* Modern world with supernatural elements. #spoiler Gong MC finds out that his and shou's fate are...incompatible, tries to break up but would always comes to shou's rescue. Finally, because of a prank from MC's bad friend, shou waited for MC to come and was stabbed to death. Shou comes back as a malicious ghost and learned the truth why MC broke up with him. (C103 TwT)

Arc 5 - A Good for Nothing Top X a Mentally Challenged Waste Picker Bottom (Chapter 109-125) - Rebirth. Gong MC was originally from a rich family but mother & son got kicked out as a mistress. When MC Mom died, gong MC was 'raised' by his orphan neighbor who was said to be mentally-challenged (shou). Laters, when the company has no one to support it, the rich family took gong MC back. After stabilizing the company, gong MC goes back to find shou but found out that shou left to look for him. In the 2nd life, MC chose not to go back to his family, him & shou lived together and MC became a game livestreamer. #spoiler *whisper* I think the shou was reborn too.

Arc 6 - Fickle in Love and a Player of a Top x an Actor Bottom (Chapter 126-143) -  Translation still ongoing~ Former young master gong MC x actor shou

I like it, each arc is basically a standalone story. Something in common: the shous are possessive and the gongs are scummy (except Arc 3. Lol), but their couple dynamics/interactions are somewhat different for each. Hands down, my favorite arc is the first arc, I mean, the way our gong MC....melted (lol), and I feel like he did love the shou in the first life, but he ultimately chose his ambition over shou. His three birthday wishes was sooo cute~~ Character growth, I tell you.

My 2nd favorite arc is Arc 3, our gong MC is just so...cocky. Damn, bad boy vibes~ I like how his care for shou is on the little details~ Sweet~ The others are also good, but these two are my favorite~

Nearest reco: Why Do I Wake up as a Cheater Every Time?, scummy gong MC and violent/temperamental shou (2nd arc). Lol.
