283. Through the Farming Fields Full of Spring

Synopsis:

Tang Chunming was in front of his father's grave when took a nosedive and with a swish found himself in ancient times. A world that only had men and gers but no women. He believed he could live a happy life, however reality made him regretful, because there was a baby in his belly. Was this because he did not honor his promise of having a grandson to his father?

Impressions: This was a very fun story, our MC is a very decisive person. After adapting to his new identity, he raised his family by himself and then just met ML later, a very manly shou.

So our MC transmigrates to ancient times, and became a  newly widowed ger. This ger is still pregnant and has another young ger son. After his 'husband' died, his husband's family was clamoring to sell the two of them in exchange for silver. MC also used to live in the countryside, so he knows how to deal with this people, esp. in ancient times where reputation is very important so he found a way to separate from his husband's family as an independent household. This is one of the things I like about MC. He is a man, and in his past life, he had never begged/acted pitiful to anyone (except his own Father), but he was able to do it here cos he knows its the only way to escape from the 'husband's family.

Our MC's golden finger is a magical space, and he takes risk one-time to sell the fruits/vegetables in it. After getting enough funds, he started to build his wealth slowly through selling vegetables, raising livestock etc (poor to rich!). The life of their little family is getting better.

Then came our ML, our ML is... #SPOILER is a retired General. Like MC, his relatives are also not good people. After his retirement, he decided to stay in the village and he became attracted to our very...unusual MC, which is different from other gers. (manly shou!) However, since our MC is still in filial piety (?) (newly widowed!), he just sorts of hangs around MC making MC wonder whether he likes him or not XD XD XD Our ML only completely revealed his thoughts when a matchmaker came to MC's door cos they are interested in MC's wealth and vegetables XD After that, ML became more high profile in his pursuit of MC. He is also good to MC's kids. 

After the bereavement period passed, MC & ML finally get together, living with a family of four. More poor-to-rich though fruits, vegetables and livestocks. MC & ML also invites their friends on a joint business so they can be rich too. They also contribute a lot to the village, selling MC's seedlings that are sure to give higher yield, building a winery. MC and ML former relatives are shown from time to time and since they are all selfish people, they are all having a bad life even with MC & ML not doing anything. Laters, ML's identity is revealed...and he has to go participate in the war. MC stays at the village to give birth (pregnant with ML's kids) and to manage their businesses~~ After the war, ML goes back to his family to farm with his wife and 4 kids (MC gave birth to twins!).

Extras is ML's homecoming (lololol), he didn't know that MC was pregnant when he left and throughout the entire war, no one told him XD  Then a little later when the kids have grown up (twins are 8 y/o); there's also about MC's former husband's family, of course, they have a miserable ending but they're also kind of pitiful and it can be considered that author-sama also left them a way out. Last one is a surprise twist #SPOILER about MC's former husband, who didn't die but actually got amnesia,  he is now married to a wealthy family in another place. I thought he was a good person at first but after remembering his memories, he blamed MC for his own family's miserable end (because MC didn't help them. Gaah =_=). He was killed by a kid that ML helped before. This kid is completely loyal to ML and didn't want the malicious ex-husband to butt in ML's happy family life. He became a secret guard(?) and died defending a general surnamed Li, which might be ML or one of his kids~

This is mostly focus on MC's family life and poor-to-rich,  but even if there are a lot of businesses, MC is more of a shareholder(?). He just gives the ideas and other people would do it. He is not as hands-on as he was when everything was just getting started. MC's magical space does not play much of a role except for the spring water etc, and the food they eat at home. MC's magical space is also known to his family, ML and the 2 kids with steady personality cos the other 2 is too rowdy and might accidentally let it slip to other people. I like MC's generous personality which is more because he is too lazy XD rather than being a Holy Mother to all.

Nearest reco I can think of is Transmigration of Mian [Reluctantly] Becomes His Man [Wife], with MC family making their whole village rich, and also ML being a retired General.
