392. Cannon Fodder Cheat System

Synopsis:

At first, when he learned that he was forced to go to many different routine worlds and be reborn into all kinds of cannon fodder, he was against it.

Because while villains usually all only have a moment of satisfaction, the endings of cannon fodder are also frequently quite miserable.

But the man who gave him the system told him that this system not only has all types of powerful functions, but he can also break the routine lives of the cannon fodder. If he achieves this satisfactorily for each world, he can even become a god.

He's already experienced over a thousand reincarnations, but hasn't yet been a god. Since it sounds pretty great, why not just try it out.

From that moment on, he began the irreversible path of tyrannically oppressing people, while conveniently tearing open those white moonlights and so-called righteous people's hypocritical masks.

His goal: wearing the villain's role to walk other people's righteous paths, leaving them no path to follow.

Impressions: Another old read... I guess, it was pretty basic(?). I can't think of like, a memorable arc but when I re-read it, I started to remember that I've read this before. Not sure if I finished MTLing it~ Anyways...

Our MC has been reincarnating for so many times but each time, his lifespan is getting shorter and shorter so he doesn't want to do it anymore. Hades convinces him to continue since there is someone waiting for him. MC doesn't budge, and finally, Hades offer him to go to small worlds to do missions/counterattack with a System instead of reincarnating as his own person, he will take over other people (Host)'s lives. This time, MC agrees.

Arc 1: Gourmet Food Heir (Chapter 1-16) - Original's family is on the restaurant/food catering business. OG's Scum Dad marries into their family then cheats on OG Mom. He brings back his illegitimate son. Laters, OG Mom commits suicide from the depression and OG Dad brings back his mistress and kicks OG out. The villain is the half-brother (the illegitimate son). MC uses System to get cooking talent and then defeats him in a contest. ML is a rich influential man~ (lol)

Arc 2: Unstable Chinese Republic (Chapter 17-27) - OG's family are merchants. OG Mom was from the royal family so it was considered marrying downward. OG Dad falls inlove with an opera singer concubine and brings her home and wanted her to be an equal wife with OG Mom. The concubine and her son were both kicked out. The villain is the half-brother (again). The concubine brainwashed her son that the family should belong to him. Villain bro seduces a general with her Opera Singer skills. MC also gets Opera skills from the System. ML is a commander (higher rank than the guy villain bro seduced)

Arc 3: Interstellar Internet Celebrity Live Broadcast Competition (Chapter 28-40) - Original is an extreme sports live broadcast anchor. Another anchor (the villain!) exposes him for using high tech gadgets. OG does use it, but its just as insurance/for safety but he doesn't use it to do the extreme sports. OG gets blacken by the whole network. MC joins a variety show and shows off his survival skills/knowledge. ML is the producer? of the show.

Arc 4: Prince of Piano (Chapter 41-53) - Original is a rich orphan. Before his death, OG's grandpa set OG's fiance's family as OG's guardian. Fiance's family uses OG's money/property as their own cos they feel that sooner or later OG will marry their son (the fiance). Fiance falls inlove with their family's adopted son (no one seems to find this wrong =_=) but doesn't want to let go of OG for his money. The villain/adopted son/fiance-stealer is a piano student. MC uses the System to get top notch piano skills to defeat him. ML is also a prestigious musician, MC becomes his student.

Arc 5: Survival Games (Chapter 54-67) - Players are trapped inside an online game. OG was being treated as an ATM/wallet by his teammates. The villain is someone who is envious of OG in real life, he uses OG's face in the game and seduces the team members so they would crowd out OG. MC quits the team and joins ML's team.

Arc 6: Legend of the Holy Light (Chapter 68-79) - Humans vs. Demons. The villain was someone who had demonic energy but was spared by OG's grandpa cos he was just a child. As a result, villain makes a deal with the Demons and then frames OG's whole family so he would become the new Pope(?). MC exposes villain's true face. ML is the Human Race's first Prince.

Arc 7: Supermodel Competition (Chapter 80-95) - OG is a promising model who establish his own studio with his boyfriend. The villain is a newcomer who steals OG's boyfriend and then blackened OG in the network. MC comes in, uses the System to fix his body/appearance as well as modelling skills, joins a Supermodel Competition. ML is the organizer of the competition.

Arc 8: War of Mechanics (Chapter 96-113) - OG's whole family was framed and killed by political enemies. The villain is a transmigrator who is jealous of OG for being more talented than him who came from the future. Also a fiance-stealer. OG escapes when they tried to kill him too. MC comes in and defects to another empire and uses his mech knowledge to help them defeat his former home. ML is a general of that empire.

Arc 9: True or False Mermaid (Chapter 114-127) - OG is a pureblooded mermaid who was suppose to marry the Prince. Villain is the son of a star pirate and was inlove with the Prince. They ambush OG on the way, takes his mermaid bead and takes over his identity. ML is the Prince's Uncle and the rightful heir to the throne (Current King is just a...placeholder? Lol) MC takes back his mermaid bead and exposes Villain's true identity.

Arc 10: Artistic Life (Chapter 128-145) - OG is an art student. Villain is his plagiarizing housemate who has a crush on their mentor. MC leaves his house and lives over at ML's. ML is also a painter, helps MC expose villain's true face. MC paints scenes from their past lives/previous mission worlds and ML seems to awaken some memories (he dreams about it). Villain also seems to awaken some feelings when he suffered from defeat from MC in the past lives.

Arc 11: Game Developers (Chapter 146-162) - Same old story. OG has a Scum Dad who has an (fake) illegitimate son (the villain!). They want to squeeze out OG from the company so fake son can take over. MC quits the company and join the rival company (ML's company). He makes a game based on the previous worlds. Villain seems to awaken feelings of despair again and even developed mental problems from playing the game. 

Arc 12: Life of Music (Chapter 163-179) - OG is a talented musician but is being suppressed by the company to support the villain. Villain used to be OG's friend and has a crush on his boyfriend. Pretends that he only has 2 years to live so boyfriend would break up with OG and support him. MC quits the company and comes over to ML's studio. ML is the King of Music.

Arc 13: Story of Anyang (Chapter 180-196)

Arc 14: Rebirth in the Apocalypse (Chapter 197-211)

Arc 15: Immortal Dao (Chapter 212-225)

Ending (Chapter 226-228)

Same impression, it's very basic. Either the original is abused by his family or his whole family is dead. Villains are always the illegitimate son or the fiance/boyfriend/suitor-stealer. Anyways, he is always coveting/envious of something of MC's. And ML is the very big golden thigh that can solve all of MC's problems.

It's sweet but the instalove doesn't justify it for me on rolling the sheets on their first meeting (there is dubcon on some arcs). Also, like Turn On the Love System, its too easy mode with MC using the System skills for everything.

I am a bit interested though that like MC & ML in every world. The 'villain' also seems to be the same soul. (He is too miserable then~) and MC gets flashbacks of people in red and white clothes. Too lazy to MTL, waiting for it to be completely translated~
