Impressions: From the same author as The Rebirth Waste Strikes Back, I really like the sassy MC there so I figured I would like this too. Uhh... nope. Actually I could still like MC since he's funny but the ML kinda ruin this for me.

So our MC rebirths into an unfavored son like always. His stepmother is trying to marry him off and he keeps making trouble by painting ugly make-up, pretending to be dying, pretending to be pregnant etc.  to scare off his blind dates so he has a bad reputation. Meanwhile ML is an unfavored Prince and of course, the Queen Mother is also trying to marry him off . She decides to pair him with MC cos of MC's bad reputation.

The Prince and MC has no choice but to comply. And boy, do they not get along. ML is proud and keeps telling  MC not to fall for him. MC is a former straight man so he has no thoughts on ML AT ALL. However now that MC can be said to 'have a background', he starts to show his talents in formation, potion, music etc. which frequently surprises everyone including ML. 

ML also takes full advantage of MC, like contracting MC to make formations and sell them...and the credit is given to his company. This is actually a good thing cos it hides MC from people's eyes, but the problem is that ML didn't explain it to MC, MC just saw his formations on the news and everyone praising ML for it. Also when ML contracted MC to make the formations, he promised a hefty amount of payment, but in the end, he goes back in his word because as an unfavored Prince he didn't have that much money. So why promise MC in the first place? Why not split the money?  ML is literally stealing MC's work and MC wasn't even allowed to sell his formations for himself.

There was also ML's green tea bitch white moonlight that he can't get over off. I wanna smack him on the face and remind him that he's already married. It was very very uncomfortable when he took in white moonlight in their house. Imagine the husband-and-wife living with a wanna-be mistress. Kudos to MC's assistant on his drunken scolding of ML that MC is EXCELLENT and ML is powerless and undeserving of him. MC even cured ML's condition, and has given ML so many benefits but I don't see him returning the gesture to MC.

As always, author-sama is weak on emotional development so somewhere along the way, ML just fell for MC but I dunno if its because MC revealed his talents and its beneficial to be with him or because white moonlight betrayed ML etc. In short, It didn't really feel sincere to me... so yeah, I didn't enjoy this cos of ML~~ I got to the part where two other side CPs where forming, MC's servant (with a general's grandson) and MC's also reincarnated big brother (with ML's servant) before I stopped.

If you're looking for sassy characters, its best to stick to The Rebirth Waste Strikes Back, then again, I didn't even reach halfway of the novel so maaayyybe it gets better later~~ The characters sort of makes or breaks it for me and in this case, by C273 I still didn't like our ML :P
