Synopsis:

Su Yunxi read a post-apocalyptic novel, and fell in love with the super invincible villain named Yu Bai. The poor villain was the one who defended his family and the country, but he was the one whose reputation got dirty, the one who was beaten by the pig's feet (the protagonists in the book). It was him who made a room for the pig's feet, and he was also the one who was almost killed. In short, he only moved the bricks in the full text (only need to work). The pig's feet were like two leeches biting on him, sucking his blood and eating his meat and wanting to kill him.

Su Yunxi's whole person was in chaos, what about the good villain, what about the bad protagonist?.

He opened Du Niang (aka Baidu) and searched the definition of villain, "refers to those who are opposed to the positive characters, representatives of evil images, or incompatible with the protagonist in the story".

Seeing the last sentence, Su Yunxi felt like he had realized something, "I'm falling, so the so-called villain just because it doesn't deal with the protagonist, he has a reputation as a villain".

Su Yunxi, who was distressed, grabbed his heart and pressed his mouth flatly, and then a long theoretical comment would put him down, sent him to the world of the book. He just opened his eyes and Yu Bai was standing in front of him. The man he loved was now in front of him," How can I get the other party's attention and get a good impression".

Impressions: Hmm.. its zombie apocalypse BL, but I didn't like it as much as I thought I would.

So our MC is reading a danmei zombie apocalypse novel. He felt indignant for the villain's suffering cos the villain is GOOD. He was a soldier before the apocalypse and after the apocalypse, he kept saving people but the protagonist shou kept targeting him and destroying his reputation so he can steal the villain's magical space/golden finger. The villain didn't even blackened. In the end, he died still trying to save people. Just because the protagonist didn't like him, he was labeled as a "villain".

Then MC transmigrated into the novel as a doctor who awakened healing abilities, he was at the place that villain/ML was trying to save before he died. So with OG's past life memories + the book plot that MC read, he knows more or less about the future. He tells this to ML, saying that they were "good brothers" during the zombie apocalypse. ML heard all about 'being-framed-by-shou-to-steal-his-golden-finger' and seems to recall some vague memories, so when he awakened his jade magical space, he bound it to MC. MC became the owner of the magical space.

Then ML and his team resigned from being soldiers and gathered supplies. The government announced the apocalypse to the citizens so no looting happening. Everyone is preparing for it on their own way. Near the apocalypse date, ML and team picks up MC from the hospital to join them. After the apocalypse, MC awakens the healing ability just like OG. Laters, they went to a 'safety point' (not a Base in a strict sense, but more like a resting/security stop point). Then MC announces to the world how to upgrade their abilities (practice!). Also that healing abilities can purify the zombie nucleus so the other ability users can absorb them. (They can't absorb the nucleus as is) and that healing/water/wood attribute abilities can 'guide' ordinary people into becoming an ability user. MC builds a good/Holy Father reputation for himself.

The protagonist shou is so OP, his mood can affect the weather, so MC wants to steal the role of 'Son of Heaven' from him. He also chases ML albeit unsuccessfully, but laters, there is some development. The safety point became a Base and MC was assigned by the government to be the Base Leader. Meanwhile, the protagonist shou and gong are also developing their own Base/manpower but it feels like MC & ML are always one step ahead of them. Shou's hatred value is also transferred from ML to MC. Hmm... what else? Laters, they had a face off and the protagonist shou is killed/defeated. Ending is MC breaking through level seven and starts purifying the oceans.

Hmm.. I didn't like it as much probably cause there is too much Base management. And its mostly about MC upgrading thru the use of magical space and his non-stop healing practice. It is rare for MC to come out of the Base so few exposure/mention of zombies. His way of chasing ML also feels more like...harassment to me. (Sorry!) During the early part, it just felt like ML can't directly turn his face cos he feels guilty for getting MC dragged into this. Hmm.. what else? Also hated that even in the apocalypse, people are still being destroyed by gossip. I mean, c'mon people are fighting for survival (it's a zombie apocalypse!) so safety, food, shelter should be top priority but somehow, its like a showbiz novel where rumors are released by the enemy. Near the end, there's even a live broadcast and a 'voting platform' through the internet.(???) I guess, it just didn't feel very apocalypse-like.

Overall, this is a zombie apocalypse novel with an OP MC shamelessly chasing after the ML. For those who hate self-sacrificing/Holy Father MCs, MC is not really a Holy Father, he just wanted to pre-empt the protagonist shou and the good reputation is just a bonus. Not much romance/lovey dovey scenes  either. Read this for high profile MC in the apocalypse.
