The most annoying cannonfodder is the ex-gf's mother who will show up to be faceslapped from time to time. MC is smart, savvy, a good Big Brother and husband. Lol. He is protective and dotes on his shou excessively. And although shou isn't a genius like MC and only responsible for being lovable and cute at the beginning (Lol) but he is very heartwarming and would also protect MC as best as he could, so it's not just MC paying onesidedly ^^
