This has been in my reading list for a while but stopped reading it after the first chapter, cos I found out that our MC is a little cutie from a boy group and its a survival show so I thought that we will have our little rabbit MC clinging to ML's thigh all the way...and I'm very happy to be proven wrong.

So our MC is an idol trainee who somehow transmigrated to the future and happened to sign up in a survival show competition. Its like an idol competition, there are rankings and stuff, and contestants would be eliminated every round until there are only 10 debut positions left. Only you determine those ranking thru battle. Our little rabbit MC was frightened on his first battle of course, and happened to be picked up by ML who then taught him basic survival skills. After the first round, our MC worked hard in his new career as a 'survival show trainee' and improves every round. Sometimes, he teams up with ML, if the situation permits it, but most of the time, he's with his teammates or forming temporary alliances with others. He never hugs ML's thighs during the competition and ML respects that. Laters, some backstory was revealed that MC and ML knew each other waaayy before and that MC is not a 'transmigrator' like he thought he was.

Should I spoil? #SPOILER #SPOILER #SPOILER MC & ML were both experimental subjects. ML was a 'sword' or a human weapon, whereas MC was a 'scabbard', someone that's meant to complement the 'sword'. Some things happen, the base was closed and ML escapes from the experimental base. He becomes a City Lord and wanted to create a haven for other genetically-modified humans like him. Our MC was a clone of an idol in the 21st Century, he has memories from there cos the base let him experience the memories of the 'Original'. When the base closed, a professor took pity of MC and erased parts of his memories, so MC really thought that he was an idol from the past. As a 'scabbard' MC helps ML deal with the aftereffects of the experiment by going into his consciousness. ML also does the same for MC when he also experience the same problems. I really like this arc of 'fixing childhood traumas', young ML was very cutee!! Very tsundere!!

The competition are also all interesting. It's not just all-out brawl, there are rules and our clever little rabbit MC wins by figuring out the rules and taking advantage of it. Also very informative! Its mostly based on actual facts. Lol. Learned a lot about science and history here. My favorite round would have to be the one with dinosaurs (so cool!) and the last one with the creepy fairy tales~ 

I also like all the other characters, whether its the other trainees or those from ML's City. There are basically no intrigues in the survival show outside the competition. I love MC's teammates who all dotes on MC and treats him as the baby of their family, especially like their overprotective mom Captain XD There are also side CPs or interesting characters from other teams who are given ample screentime~ (Jingyi CP!!!) Even the villain redeems himself in the end by atoning for his sins...and I couldn't bring myself to hate him.
