Third-rate thriller novelist Shen Yu, looking at the darker surroundings and the shivering audience of the novel, bit the mint candy in his mouth with a "Zizi" and stretched out his hand to block the innocent behind him.

"My imagination finally has a place to use it!"

The newcomer novelist, under the pen name "Mint".

​Our MC is a newbie novelist. He gets dragged into a various 'horror stories'/instances that he has to solve/survive.

Arc 1 - The Bloody Apartment (Chapters 1-16) - MC and other strangers appears in an old apartment. MC learns about the unlimited flow setting/novelist and audiences. Novelists are riskier in a horror movies but they can get hints plus save skills/items in their Black Book. MC is chosen as a 'novelist. Their identity in the horror story is a cleaner and must clean the apartment within 5 days. There's a vengeful ghost, and fearsome residents. MC learns of a government organization in charge of 'horror stories' and how he is the target sacrifice of a cult. ML is the department's Chief.

Arc 2 - Lost Portrait (Chapter 17-23)  - MC and ML become detectives looking for an old artist's lost portrait, a portrait of his most perfect lover called Alice. There's ghouls and a psycho old man.

Arc 3 - Hide and Seek (Chapter 24-32) - MC and co. goes on a cruise ship and was put into separate camps, white and black. Whites are treated as noble guest while the Blacks are treated as inferior slaves. There's water ghosts, ship sinking and the cult President almost gets MC.

Arc 4 - The Hunger Hotel (Chapter 33-41) - MC enters a 'ghost story' alone. He and others appear in a hotel where in the payment for their rooms every night are body parts. There's a crazy cook and cannibal couples hiding among the guests.

Arc 5 - A Day in the Safe Hospital (Chapter 42-27) - MC and ML appears in a hospital. MC as a security guard and ML as a patient. MC investigates the hospital and ML causes the patients to riot.

Arc 6 - Lies Town (Chapter 48-50) - All top 30 'novelists' are summoned to Lies Town, the cult's basecamp, including MC & ML. The other 29 novelist are to become sacrifices while MC will become the evil god's vessel. ML fights against the cult President and evil god. MC helps at the last minute.

Extras - No more getting summoned into 'horror stories' or special abilities. MC & ML dates as an ordinary couple.

It's okay. Our MC is calm and collected, he actively tries to solve the mission/horror story and ML's help is just icing on the cake. For example, in Arc 4, MC does extremely well without his teammates and even took the lead in solving the mystery. So yeah...I like the MC BUT for me, the horror factor is...weak? Maybe because each arc is short, the plot twist isn't really that surprising or scary to me... It's fairly easy to guess. Plus I'm already comparing this to other BL horror unlimited flow which are longer and the plot is more fleshed out, so its only 'okay' in my book. Still worth a read though.  

Nearest reco: Supernatural Movie Actor App wherein the MC enters a 'horror story', the plot/mystery is more fleshed out. Plus the Arc titles are relevant. XD  Hmm... I Rely on Kisses to Clear Survival Games(?), since our MC will get skills/items from each horror story that he can use in the next arc. Aaannd... Falling in Love in the Supernatural World, since our MC is an 'important figure/factor' when it comes to the Unlimited Flow setting plus MC & ML knew each other before, with ML belonging to an organization dealing with the supernatural.
