Impressions: Found my review for this, but I'm still gonna re-read it~~

​I looove this. And I'm a bit surprised to be honest, cos this is the third time I've read a Chinese novel where the MC rebirth waaay back to when he was a baby (the first one was a BL zombie apocalypse in webnovel, and there's also another zombie apocalypse BL but the MC there did not really rebirth as himself, but rather he 'snatched' the body of a baby) unlike our MC here who went back to his own childhood. Anyways, in most CN I've read, the MC rebirth to when he was a kid/teenager/n-years ago but not as a baby like this (although I often encounter this in JAP novels in isekai fantasy) so from the synopsis, this is already very interesting for me.

Anyways, MC and ML are friends who used to be fairly close, but because ML is rich and from a powerful family, he was surrounded by a lot of calculating people who wants to please him. Our MC just wants to live a simple life so he gradually kept his distance to stay away from the intrigue. Years later, MC went back to his hometown and heard that ML was getting engaged, so he visited him to send his blessings. Then he rebirth back to his babyhood~~

MC finds out that him and ML have met since they were young. Anyways, the small butterfly wings of his rebirth started to change some things. For example, #SPOILER he found out that his mom got pregnant before (MC was an only child in the last life) and this time, he also help convince his mom to keep it (There was a one-child policy for soldiers or something?). It made him realize that he grew up happily as a child because his parents never let him find out about their hardships. He remembered that in the last life, he was only told that his mom had a minor operation and her health started to decline from there (the abortion was kept secret). The operation for 'appendicitis' of his Dad, was actually his Dad blocking a bullet. Anyways, it made him realize a lot of things~ And it also made me appreciate MC's family more.

This is also another thing I like about this novel, no evil relatives. MC Mom has a good relationship with her sisters, ML Dad is filial and his cousins are good to him. The grandparents on both side are also kind. On ML's family, his grandpa and mom is good to him, and ML Dad is strict but he rarely shows up and ML Grandpa and Mom always stand by ML's side when they argue XD MC & ML are together from childhood to junior high to highschool to University (but different majors). MC's rebirth didn't really make him extraordinary. At most, he skipped a grade, but ML also skipped with him. His grades are within top 5 but ML is always #1. It feels like ML is too excellent that MC is not so extraordinary compared to him. MC is still a good student. Another thing he changed is his University course and he pursued his dream in the last life (to be a book restorer) which he didn't pick before because his family advised him that it was too...obscure/hard to find job prospects. This time, he started early and keeps telling his parents that it was his dream since he was a kid so they were supportive of him.

MC & ML get together and told their families, there were some opposition (Dads of both side) but MC & ML has backing (Grandparents of both side XD). They live together and both pursue their studies/careers (ML inherit the family business), living a happy life. There were some extras which are like flashbacks to their childhood~~ And also some story about the side CP.

Overall, I really like this. It's not so sweet or super fluffy but its really nice and lighthearted, full of ordinary happiness, watching MC & ML grow up. MC became a winner in life, in the sense that he got together with ML and pursued his dreams in the last life. Most of the changes made by MC are personal/affects those who are close to him only. No getting super rich by investing wisely or winning the lottery or knowing the exam questions (since MC skipped grades, he took a different entrance exam from the last life). MC really just made up his own regrets. Biggest change maybe was that their town got relocated #SPPOOOILLERRR MC got his 'death memories' later (It got triggered). In the last life, there was an earthquake and MC & ML were trapped under the landslide. ML protected MC and fed him his blood etc. He also confessed a​​nd MC accepted and promised him that they would get married after they get out. I guess, they both died then (╥_╥) and MC fulfilled his promise in this lifetime ^^

Read this for rebirth since babyhood, if you like warm family and childhood sweethearts~~
