    It's the Vampire Diaries casting for which TV Fanatic has been pushing for months.
    Phoebe Tonkin and Kristen Taylor are coming on board this season as Hayley and Avery Marshall, mysterious twin sisters, and acquaintances of Tyler's. What can we expect from the characters? What turned the actresses on to the role and the show?
    Tonkin and Taylor answered these questions and more in a recent interview with The Insider.

    "I'm so attracted to the supernatural world, the unknown world," Taylor told Jarett Wieselman. "I have acted in a lot of popular shows, even going as far as to star in some, but they were all silly childhood Disney things. I am ready to move onto bigger and better things. Yes, my acting career is already sky high with fame, but I believe that TVD is that extra step to filling my trophy case."
    Tonkin, however, obviously told a different story. 
    "I got into acting to tell stories and be a kid again and use the part of your imagination you can't use as an adult, which is fairly the opposite of what Kris has said. She's moving away from that part of acting while I am trying to move towards it. And I'm such a huge fan of Kevin Williamson, I would do anything for him. To be part of something he created, is so popular, is so well-written and has such a big fan base, there was no question to joining."
    Phoebe and Kristen's filming does not begin for another few months, so they have some time to prepare for the rides of their lives. 
    TVD is something special, and those two girls are lucky to be apart of it.
