Is this Alyssa-Rose's fault?

Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder are best known for their iconic characters on The Vampire Diaries.

The pair played Elena and Damon, two people who, throughout the majority of the show, hated eachother with what seemed like a burning passion, all because Elena thought that Damon was a bad influence on her sister, Ariana. Well, it seemed like the real life Elena was Damon's real life Ariana.

The actors had begun a romantic relationship in 2010, and appeared to be just as in love as Damon and Ariana were during TVD.

Nina and Ian kept their relationship out of the spotlight for the first year, however, as things began to get serious, they became more public.

But lately, things seemed to have changed. It has been over a week since Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder were last caught out together, and neither of them have posted on any social media platforms about eachother, which is very odd for the couple and has led us to believe that things may have ended too soon for them...

We are all just praying that we are wrong and that they are doing fine.

Neither of them have officially addressed their possible split, or if it is just another rumour that they have broken up. However, it is most likely true that the two are no more, as we have gotten word that Nina was not willing to settle down, unlike Ian, who was ready to start a family. Is this just another rumour? Is Nina seriously not ready for a family yet, even at the age of 24?

Is this all because of Ian's progressing friendship with Alyssa-Rose Williams? Is something happening more between our real life Damon Salvatore and Ariana Gilbert?

Now that #nian is toast, will we start to see more of #alyssian?
