Just as I was about to seek shelter under some building's roof, the tires of a car come to a halt, I wonder who might pity the lonely girl walking in the rain.
The passenger window rolls down, and I spot the most unexpected person seated behind the wheel.
"Get in" comes out his voice, and I must've stood there agape for a few moments because next comes his rhetorical question.
"Are you getting in or continuing walking in the rain?" Eyebrows raised expectantly. He sounds annoyed, like he regrets his decision to ever stop and help me.

We've all heard about 'the main character'. The type of person who lives through the most dramatic and improbable situations, and finds the kind of epic romance you only see in works of fiction. Which makes you think about how unrealistic love like that is. I used to think the same thing until I met him. Until I met 'the bad boy' that, as it turns out, wasn't that bad at all, just simply...a boy. A boy with an easy smile, a charming personality and looks so enticing that I couldn't keep my eyes off of him if I tried. A boy whose shoulders were starting to slump with the weight of his past and his family. A boy who believed that the only way to survive was by putting a lock on his heart and chaining it down to a place so deep inside of him that no one could ever reach it again. A boy who, for reasons I'll never comprehend, placed the key inside my palm and didn't shy away when I tried to free his hidden heart from its restraints. A boy who made me the main character of my own story. A story I never want to forget, and which begged to be put on paper. He smirks, "You've finally cracked." I furrow my eyebrows, "You were baiting me? Jerk, just turn off your music!" "Or what?" He asks teasingly. "Or..or I'll tell the front office!" He shrugs, "Go ahead, you're the only one complaining." I glare at him, "Ooh you are so!" He looks at me amusingly, "So what?" "So!" He brings his face closer to mine, "Say what you want to say." His voice was low as he stared into my eyes. I was suddenly mute, completely drawn into those warm brown eyes. I don't know why I did, but I leaned into him. Our lips finally colliding.
