Hello there, sorry this chapter took me so long to get to you all, but here it is! I brought extra sneeze paper incase anybody needs some. this is of course kind of angsty. I hope you like it! as always please keep comments clean and Patton friendly!
I don't know if this needs warnings of not, but I'll put them in, just so nobody is triggered.
Warnings: Money Issues, Being called an awful parent, guilt tripping, lots of angry and bitter words, lots of angst, anger, mentions of hatred.
Logan:
you stared out the window as you heard Logan's heavy footsteps approached the room. the door creaked open and Logan walked inside.
"hello dear." he said, but you didn't reply, your mind pondering how exactly you were going to ask him about your concerns. Recently, Logan has been spending nearly all of his time at work. he was always working and you were sick of it, you couldn't do this alone, and he'd promised he'd make time for you, a promise he didn't keep.
"Hello Dear." Logan repeated louder and you still ignored him. you heard him huff before sitting next to you. both of you just staring out the window.
"why are you ignoring me?" Logan asked, clearly annoyed and you turned to face him, you eyes glassy, and your breathing growing quicker as you looked into his eyes.
"Logan, you need a break, I need you. I need you here, not at work. you work all the time, and you don't care about me! I can barely get through a day with this, I try Logan, but I miss you, I need you." you said, starting to tear up, remembering how you broke up, all those words that were said, you watched Logan's face turn dark, as more tears welled in your eyes, your hormones screaming at you.
"How else are we going to pay for this? I don't want to be in financial ruin being you couldn't handle it!" Logan said, raising his voice, you stood up, not looking at him.
"Listen to me, I'm doing this because I care so much for you. for Athena." Logan said, looking down at your eyes, then to your stomach.
"Stop it..." you whispered. before walking into the bathroom and locking the door. you cried and cried in there, Logan's heart breaking at he could only listen to your pitiful sobs, tears streaming down his face too, this reminded him too much of how he lost you. he promised himself he'd never do it again, yet there you both were.
Patton:
"Patton, we can't possibally do it all, especially not like this." you said, frustrated, gesturing wildy at your stomach, hormones racing, as you got more and more upset. as you glanced up at Patton's steady chocolate eyes.
"we have to, people will be disappointed if we don't. you don't want to disappoint people, do you?" he asked you, while your started breathing faster and faster. you held onto the table for support as you looked at Patton, there wasn't anger in his eyes, just... well you couldn't even tell, concern? sternness? consterness?
"what will it take for you to see that I'm not okay!? I can't do this Patton, I'm being driven mad! Rosemary needs me constantly and I can't be running around for everyone all the time, I need to focus on myself for once! we need to focus on us!" you said, your voice getting louder and louder as you got more worked up. tears starting to form in your eyes
"if this is how we act before Rosemary, then how on earth are we going to make time for her after?!" you screamed, looking at him, tears flooding your eyes, Patton opened his mouth to speak but no words came out. you began silently sobbing, so mad at yourself for yelling at Patton.
"I'm sorry." you whispereing, looking at your feet but Patton backed away.
"just... don't." Patton said before walking upstairs, leaving you crying. why did you always end up pushing Patton away? this wasn't fair to either of you, why did it always end like this? you spent the night on the couch, crying yourself to sleep.
Roman:
"Angel! I'm home!" Roman called out and you looked up from your notebook, stress on your face. Roman opened the door with a huge smile, some roses in his hand, he gave them to you before kneeling down to make eye contact.
"Roman..." you said, as a warning, looking at the roses, which you didn't accept. the joy faded from Roman's face at he looked at you. he scanned the notebook, all the bills on the counters, and your stress.
"Roman, what are we going to do?" you cried, looking down at all the debt, crying pathetically.
"it'll be okay love, we'll manage like we always have." Roman said, putting a hand on your shoulder, but you shook it off, glaring at him.
"don't touch me! you keep living in imagination, get you head out of the clouds and look at this!" you yelled, the stress and sleep deprivation turning into venomous words. Roman looked hurt as you continued.
"you always say it will be alright! get in touch with reality, Roman. get your head out of all those fanciful thoughts and be real for once in your miserable life! we are going to loose everything if we don't fix this! and here you are, wasting money on stupid things!" you screamed at him, throwing the flowers at the wall, while tears gathered in Roman's eyes.
"please stop." Roman said, hurt in his soft tone. but you were to far, you knew you had taken it way to far, but you couldn't stop yourself as everything spewed everywhere.
"get a grip, and help me for once!" you screamed tears streaming down your face. Roman was crying, he'd never seen you this angry, and this hurt more than anything else.
"I just wanted to make you smile." Roman said, looking down, and it was then you were nearly snapped out of your trance but Roman was kneeling by the wall, picking up the broken bunch of roses, before he turned to you. while you cried.
"I just want you to smile, Angel... and obviously, I can't." he sniffled before running out, ignoring your calls as he ran to Remus house. you screamed in agony, walking over to the broken roses, you'd lost him, and you feared he would never come back.
Virgil:
"I'm just saying that a C-section would be safer for you and the child! everything could go wrong if you didn't! I can't lose you! I really can't, I've already lost you once!" Virgil yelled, while you just yelled back
"its my body and my child! and I don't want to go under surgery! I'm scared Virgil, why can't we just do it normally!? really, is it that hard?" you asked
"your endangering OUR child!" Virgil yelled back
"I'm just really scared, I don't want to have a C section! what if something goes wrong?" you asked, and Virgil fumed
"well what if something goes wrong the other way! your risking our childs life because you're too scared! I never thought you would be so selfish! " Virgil screamed, and you nearly slapped him
"Wow! really!? I had no idea! well at least I'm trying to be a good parent!" you said, now full on crying, damaged by the toxic words.
"excuse me!" Virgil yelled back.
"I'm trying to do what's best for all of us!" you yelled, getting closer to Virgil, who started yelling back.
"you mean what's best for you! and only you! you know, you are an awful mother!" Virgil screamed, and you started sobbing, like full on sobbing. Virgil snapped out of it and covered his mouth in shock, he kneeled down but you shoved him away, crying.
"please leave me alone." you managed out weakly, before you walked to the guest bedroom and locked the door, Guilt riddled Virgil as he began sobbing, realizing how much he hurt you.
Janus:
"I just can't believe you! why is every single thing my fault!" Janus said angrily, and you just turned away, scoffing.
"I don't know what on earth you are talking about, oh yeah, maybe because its completely your fault." you yelled. Recently you had been a bit... unstable. it was mostly hormones and stress but you and Janus had been having arguments almost everyday, and thing were finally boiling down.
"you are so needy! honestly I don't even know why I bother." Janus said, angrily. you scoffed again, dropping the laundry you were folding and crossing your arms,
"maybe because you are the father of this child and you need to help?" you said, rolling your eyes and Janus growled angrily.
"I don't even know what happened to the person I loved, because you aren't them!" Janus said angrily leaning in so that you both were face to face, and your whole face darkened angrily.
"well, isn't that just incredible, when times get tough you just duck out like usual." you argued back, turning back to your laundry, Janus clenched his fists in anger looking at you. he took a deep breath before delivering one of the worst things he's ever said.
"I don't duck out! but I will say this, and listen carefully. I regret it! everything, I wish I'd left you sooner! I regret all the cuddles, I regret ever marrying you!" Janus screamed out, and you froze. looking up at him, and at that moment, he realized he'd taken it way too far. you began crying, crying the hardest he'd ever seen you cry.
"I don't know what happened. I'm sorry." you started crying, backing away from Janus before you ran away. you walked out the door, and started walking. soon you sat down on the bench at the park, just crying, ignoring the sympathetic looks from people passing by and wondering how on earth you got Janus, your best friend, to hate you.
Remus:
Remus' face grew red in anger as he snatched the book from your hand, an annoyed look crossing your face. he'd been so overprotective the last two weeks and you couldn't stand it anymore
"I told you, you should be lifting heavy things in your state!" Remus said loudly, while you rolled your eyes. you reached for the book but Remus held it out of your reach, causing your annoyance to grow almost unbearable.
"I'm not a child Remus, and I can care for myself." you said, very very annoyed, and Remus merely layered another blanket over your restless form. you threw it off, glaring at Remus. he walked over and set the book on the bookshelf.
"you aren't a child, but you are sure acting like one! just take it easy for once, you are very sick and very pregnant and very high risk. you shouldn't be doing anything but resting!" Remus yelled, looking at you, while you pouted.
"but Remus, I want to be around you, I'm such a burden like this." you argued and Remus groaned in frustration, stomping over.
"you aren't a burden, and I'm only doing what's best for you! I can't loose you." Remus said, tears glossing his eyes, and you huffed again, he turned to plate dinner and you walked over to the bookshelf and took your book back, before sitting and reading again.
"can you just be seat for 30 minutes!" Remus yelled seeing the book gone and you reading, and you just glared.
"I'm not helpless Remus." you said annoyed and Remus just threw the plate of food on the ground angrily causing you to jump. he looked like he was about to yell some more but he took a deep breath and walked outside. your heart broke a little as you kneeled to pick up the pieces of the plate.
