Rebecca's POV:
"I think we're lost," Spencer muttered as she looked outside the window, seeing all the buildings moving past us as Hannah drove the Jeep.
"We are not lost idiot, we're just driving through the city." Hannah said, keeping her eyes fixed on the road.
"Seriously Hannah, where the hell are we?" Emily asked from the passenger's seat.
"Ugh, can you all stop? I'm trying to find the sign that shows me the way for the stadium." Hannah grumbled.
Spencer shook her head in disaproval. "Turn on the GPS, I don't trust your memory enough." she said, leaning forward between the passenger's and the driver's seat.
Hannah frowned and gave a sideways glance at Spencer before refocusing on the road. "Spencer, we're in fucking Chicago, we're not lost. I will just find the sign and that's it. Niall said is-,"
"Just turn on the GPS Hannah, we're only wasting time." Emily cut her off, moving her hands.
"Fine, fine!" Hannah said frustrated, pressing the button to turn on the GPS.
I chuckled and shook my head before fixing my eyes outside the window. Chicago. A new city for me to explore. It looks so beautiful, the streetlights and the different giant skyscrapers and buildings making it look much better. People walked around, all of them having different plans for tonight.
I am so excited I'm going to watch Harry and Niall play together tonight. This game is so important. It will be great. We are also all staying at the hotel tonight. The girls took money with them to pay for their rooms in the hotel, but I didn't, because I know Harry will compel the others to give me my room for free.
One of the reasons I love Harry.
"Finally," Emily sighed out of relief.
I looked up to see the sign that shows that the way for the stadium is on the left, some miles away. Hannah turned the car on the left and the excitement in the pit of my stomach grew stronger.
"Hey, do you have any suggestions for tomorrow morning?" I questioned, looking between the three girls.
Spencer shook her head as she crossed her arms over her chest, leaning against the window next to me. "No, do you?"
"No. What about you girls in the front?" I asked, looking at Hannah.
Hannah and Emily exchanged looks before both of them shaking their heads. "No, but I was thinking we could go sightseeing, what do you girls say?" Emily said, flashing a smile at us as she turned to look at me and Spencer at the back.
Spencer and I locked eyes and nodded, agreeing. "It would be great, I guess." Spencer said simply.
"Oh, and we could go and eat at a restaurant in a skyscraper!" Hannah said excitedly, making my smile grow.
"Yes! It would be awesome!" I squeaked.
Emily clapped her hands, giggling happily. "And we could also go for shopping!"
"Duh, we would do that either way," Hannah huffed, rolling her eyes but still smiling brightly.
"I saw today that the weather is much warmer here so I guess we could also go to the pool?" Emily said, looking between us.
"Yes! Oh please let's go to the pool!" Hannah begged, pouting playfully.
"Yes! I want to tan a little." Spencer joined, raising her hand.
I laughed. "Girls, it's December. We can't go to the pool." I shook my head.
Emily and Spencer both raised a brow. "So?" Spencer asked.
"We might catch a cold and that's the last thing we want."
"We won't catch a cold, we'll change and dry ourselves there before we leave." Hannah said.
"Okay then," I shrugged nonchalantly.
"What else do you girls want to do?" Emily asked.
"Wait, how many days are we staying?" Spencer asked, widening her brown eyes a little.
"Just for the weekend, why?" Hannah replied, turning the car on the right.
"Nothing, Josh's just been asking." she replied, looking outside the window.
Emily and Hannah locked eyes momentarily, a flash of grimace crossing their features before they fixed their gazes elsewhere. I frowned lightly, thinking about Spencer. She really acts so weird sometimes, it confuses me.
"There it is!" Hannah said out loud, pointing at the big stadium that came to view.
We all looked at the stadium, seeing how nice it looked with the lights. I was now more excited about the game and the thought that Harry is there made my heart flutter. I quickly took my phone out and took a picture, uploading it on Instagram. I bet this will take many likes. The view is great.
"I'm so excited to see my boy play football!" Hannah said happily, jumping up and down as she drove.
I laughed. "It's gonna be big!" I cheered.
Emily and Hannah fangirled over the game with me while Spencer typed on her phone. She's probably texting with Josh. I didn't pay too much attention to her as I was too focused on Harry.
After Hannah parked her Jeep, all four girls jumped out of the car, looping our arms around each other's and walking to the entrace. We payed our tickets and got in. Hannah was right next to me, her big blue eyes looking around with surprise. Emily was taking a video from behind with her iPhone, saying this moment needs to be captured.
"Hannah!" we heard the familiar voice call and we all turned our heads.
Niall was jogging towards us, a big grin plastered on his face. Hannah let a squeak as she ran to him and wrapped her arms around his neck. He wrapped his own arms around her waist and kissed her deeply. Emily let an "aww" next to me and I giggled. Spencer just glanced at Hannah and Niall before refocusing on her phone.
Niall pulled back and looked at us. He waved at the camera, smiling brightly. "Hey girls, how are you?" he asked, coming closer to us.
"Hello, Nialler." I winked and hugged him.
He laughed and hugged me back. "It's good to have you here tonight, Rebecca." he said.
"I wouldn't miss my best friend slaying." I chuckled, pulling back.
He laughed and tapped my shoulder. He then turned to hug Emily and Spencer. I felt a shiver down my spine for a strange reason.
"Won't I get a hug?" Harry whispered to my ear from behind, making me gasp.
I turned around and saw him smirking, dimples craving into his cheeks. His corly locks were perfectly pushed back and he was dressed into black skinny jeans and a deep red sweater. I couldn't help but giggle and wrap my arms around his neck, hugging him tightly. His strong, muscular arms held me closer, making me feel protected.
"I missed you," he kissed my hair.
I chuckled. "We've been apart for half a day,"
"I can't even stay away from for a minute, Rebecca." his words made my heart race.
My smile grew bigger. "Oh stop it," I lightly punched his back, feeling ny cheeks blushing.
"I can't stop." he swung me around, making me let a squeak and laugh right after.
He laughed and kept swinging me around. I saw for a second Emily capturing us and laughing. I definetely want that video. I will upload it on Instagram.
He stopped and surprised me by pressing his lips against mine. I smiled under the kiss and kissed him back, running my hands through his hair. Butterflies errupted in my stomach and happiness flooded through me.
"Harry, c'mon, it's time to change." Niall said, making us pull back.
Harry looked down at me with happy green eyes. "Time to slay."
I laughed and pecked his lips. "Slay them all, babe."
He nodded. "I will." he let go of me.
Emily came in front of us, holding her phone. "Let me take a quick picture of you." she smiled.
Harry wrapped his arm around my waist and brought me closer. I smiled brightly at the camera as Harry made a thumbs up. Emily took the picture and Harry kissed my cheek, mumbling a quick "watch me slay" before following Niall into the dressing rooms.
"C'mon girls! It's time to take our seats!" Hannah grabbed my arm, urging me to follow her.
"Let's go." Emily tapped Spencer's shoulder, making her look up from her phone. Hannah grimaced a little but soon masked the grimace with a blank face.
I followed Hannah further into the stadium, looking around the people who also came in. Our seats were in the front row and we could see everything better. I quickly took my phone out and took a picture of the crowded stadium, uploading on Instagram. Emily sent me the video and the picture of me and Harry, wich also were uploaded on Instagram. As I scrolled through my timeline, I saw that Harry uploaded a picture with Niall holding a ball in his hands, making a funny face at the camera.
Everyone's such in a great mood today. I'm so happy and excited. I also feel a little nervous, in case someone gets hurt, but I'm sure Harry will take care of it if the person that got hurt happens to be Niall.
"Rebecca, come here." Emily from my right made me look at her. I was staring at the people that walked back and forth, holding their snacks.
"What?" I asked and looked at her.
"Do you want to take a picture? Spencer isn't in a mood." she made a face. My eyes moved from Emily to the seat next to her, where Spencer sat, typing on her phone. I frowned lightly, feeling a little frustrated and pissed off.
"Sure." I smiled at Emily and leaned closer to her.
She smiled and raised the phone in front of us. She made a dug face and I simply smiled as she took the picture. We look great, I have to admit. Emily uploaded it on Instagram immidiately.
I bet the whole college is stalking our profiles now.
"Do you want something to eat or drink?" Hannah asked us.
I nodded. "A cold cola." I said.
"Make them two." Emily ordered.
"Spencer?" Hannah asked, leaning in to see her.
Spencer looked up from her phone and raised her brows.
"Do you want anything to drink?" Hannah asked with boredom.
"No, but I want a hot dog." she said.
Hannah nodded and stood up. "I'll be right back." she said before she dissapeared.
"I knew we should've made a sign." Spencer claimed, crossing her arms.
Emily rolled her eyes. "It's okay, the boys are going to see us either way."
"But the sign would be so cool." Spencer whined.
"Next time." I said and she huffed.
"The game will start in 10 minutes." Emily said as she looked down at her phone.
"Good." I said, leaning back on my seat.
The song 'You're never fully dressed without a smile' by Sia started playing in the stadium, making me and Emily dance and sing, not too loudly though. Spencer went back to texting on her phone, ignoring us. She's really pissing me off by doing this, to be honest.
"I'm back!" Hannah's singing voice hit my ears and I turned my head to look at her carrying our orders.
She handed me and Emily our coked and then Spencer her hot dog. Hannah, Emily and I were discussing about tomorrow's walk in the city when a loud whistle was heard.
We all turned our heads and saw the boys coming out from the dressing rooms. The opponent team was wearing red while our team was wearing black and white. I spotted Niall coming out fifth, his blonde hair perfectly styled up. Hannah clapped her hands even louder, smiling brightly as she stared at her happy boyfriend jogging to the half of the stadium.
My eyes scanned the rest of boys and finally landed on Harry. He came out seventh, his legs hitting hard the grass. How can he have better legs than me? So unfair. My heart raced and my grin grew bigger as I clapped for my boyfriend.
Harry looked around, scanning each one of the people until his eyes landed on me. I blew him a kiss, knowing he could still see me even though he was meters away. He waved at me and stood in the line, holding his hands behind his back.
Let the game begin.
...
"Oh c'mon!" Hannah whined, throwing her hands in the air.
I sighed out of frustration and ran a hand through my hair. The boys have been playing for 30 minutes now, and they missed scoring two times. Harry's been playing really good and even though I know he can score easily, he just doesn't do it. He probably doesn't want to do that too soon.
"That guy just missed an open goal!" Emily yelled exasperatedly, growing impatient and anxious for the game.
"If he passed the ball to Niall we would've had the lead now." Hannah grumbled before taking a sip from her drink.
"True. Niall was free, no one was blocking him." I agreed, looking at Niall who was stretching his arms.
"They will score, they're doing their best." Spencer commented.
I'm surprised she's even watching the game. I thought she would take her eyes out on the screen, but she seems too focused on the game than her phone. Surprisingly.
Harry, it's time to score now.
Harry's head turned to look at me from meters away and I could feel his eyes burning mine. "Not yet." he replied.
I sighed out of frustration. Now Harry, your team is already tired.
"I said not yet, Rebecca. Trust me, I got this."
I nodded and took a sip from my coke. I guess Harry knows what he's doing. Leaning back on my seat, I watched the opponent team passing the ball between their members, playing with our nerves as our noys tried to take the ball.
Harry suddenly stole the ball from the opponent's feet, running really fast and managing to go through all the others. The crowd started clapping their hands to urge Harry to go on, making anxiety punch my stomach.
"C'mon Harry, c'mon." I murmured, tapping my hands on my lap.
"He can do it." Emily nodded, holding the phone up as she captured everything.
My heart raced in my chest, my legs shaking a little. Harry got closer and closer to the target making excitement rose even more inside of me. I saw Niall sprinting from the other side, trying to get closer to Harry to help him.
"C'mon baby.." I murmured, growing more anxious.
Three oponents got closer to Harry from behind. Harry's feet kept having the ball, wich was a good thing. I saw some people from the corner of my eye leaning in, waiting for the next move.
"Babe, this is for you." Harry's voice hit my ears, making happiness wash through me.
Harry kicked the ball with big force and scored. I jumped on my feet and screamed out of happiness, just like the girls did. I clapped, grinning proudly as Harry raised his hands and started running around. Niall ran towards him and hugged him, making happy tears burn the back of my eyes.
"He did it!" Emily squeaked, hugging me.
I laughed and hugged her back. I then pulled back to see Harry running towards me, smiling with big green eyes shining. He pointed at me, making everyone turn to look at me. I gasped and felt my face flushing, but I couldn't help but blow a kiss to him. He made a shape of a heart with his hands before turning around and heading back to his teammates who are jumping and clapping out of happiness.
He's just amazing.
...
"Niall!" Hannah ran towards his boyfriend the moment he stepped out of the dressing room.
Niall dropped his back bag down and opened his arms to pull her for a warm embrace. Hannah hugged him tightly, hiding her face in his neck.
After the game finished, Niall told us to come outside the dressing rooms to meet him and Harry. Of course, Hannah couldn't disagree, neither did I, so we came here, watching as all the boys came out. A lot of them were really hot, but none of them were Harry.
Our team won with 2-0, one was Harry's goal and the other was another guy's from the team. I don't remember his name, but I really don't think it's that important.
"You rocked." I said as Niall came towards me.
He chuckled and wrapped his arm around me, pulling me in his hug. I hugged him back before pulling away. "Where's Harry?" I asked.
"Right here." he appeared from the dressing room, carrying his back bag.
His long hair were wet from the sweat, but he still smelled amazing. I smiled and jumped in his arms, wrapping my legs around his waist and crashing my lips against his.
He chuckled against my lips and kissed me back, wrapping his arms around my arms for support. Heat was sent through my entire body, my heart racing as jolts of electricity flooded through my vains.
He pulled back to smirk at me. "Proud enough?" he asked.
"Very." I nodded, smiling at him.
"I'm glad." he leaned in and kissed me again.
Hannah cleared her throat. "Rebecca, it's time to go to the hotel. The boys need to rest." She said, sending a wave of dissapointment wash through me.
I pulled back and pouted, Harry laughing at my reaction.
"Don't worry babe, I have a room ready for you." he tacked a strand of my hair behind my ear.
I frowned. "What?"
He looked past me at Hannah. "Go to the Atlantis hotel. I have already a reservation for you girls."
Hannah and I gasped and I unwrapped my legs from around Harry's waist to stand on my feet. "You did?" I asked surprised.
"Of course. You don't have to drive around Chicago and search for a hotel now." he winked.
I chuckled. "Thank you, Harry."
"No problem, babe." he kissed my temple.
"That's awesome, thanks Harry." Hannah said kindly.
He smiled at her and turned to look down at me. I heard Niall murmuring something to Hannah but I didn't pay any other attention to them. I was just staring at Harry.
"We're going for a walk tomorrow morning through the city, you and Niall are coming, right?" I asked, cupping his neck with my hand.
He nodded. "Of course." he replied, smiling down at me.
"Okay." I kissed his lips for a couple of seconds before pulling back.
"Styles," a hand was pressed on Harry's shoulder and we both turned to see his coach. He had a black eye, to my surprise. "It's time to go back to the hotel. You did great today."
Harry nodded. "Yeah, I'm coming," he said, not even flashing a smile at him.
"Horan! Time to leave." he looked past us at Niall.
"Sure, just one more minute coach." Niall replied simply.
The coach nodded and gave me and Harry another nod before walking away, carrying his back bag and a bag of bottles of water with him. I turned to look at Harry.
"Why does he have a black eye?" I asked, raising a brow.
Harry shrugged nonchalantly. "He pissed me off."
My eyes widened. "Harry! He's your coach! You can't hurt the coach." I whisper-yelled.
"I said I'll make sure he's breathing, not that I wouldn't hurt him."
I rolled my eyes. "Harry," I said seriously.
He rolled his eyes, mocking me. He then leaned in and kissed me, making my knees go weak. He knows I can't say no to him when he does that to me. When I pulled back, I gave him a warning look.
"Don't lose your temper, okay?" I said, raising my finger.
He nodded. "I'll try." he kissed my forehead. "See you tomorrow, babe."
"Bye." I smiled.
"C'mon Niall, time to go." Harry said, ticking his head towards the exit.
Niall nodded and kissed Hannah goodbye before following Harry outside. Hannah came and stood next to me before we both left and went back to the car. Emily and Spencer were already in the car, discussing about something.
I jumped in the passenger's seat and buckled myself the same time Hannah turned on the car. She quickly pulled the car on the road and the stadium was soon out of our view.
