-Airmed's point of view-
My face badly beaten and my body numb and cold. I couldn't move my body any more. My vision kept fading in and out but the one thing I could see, his sadistic smirk plastered on his face. "You ready to come home, doll?" He whispered in my ear. He already cracked my cheek bones, and my mouth was full of blood.
My head dropped and I opened my mouth. Blood pouring from it as I coughed. But I made a smile.
"I am not......" He grabbed my chin making look up at him. "YOUR DOLL!" I yelled moving my head around and biting his hand. I bit as hard as I could, to the point I could taste his sour blood. But it didn't last long before I was punched in the face again this time with enough force it took the whole chair with me when I bashed against the floor.
"Fuck." I heard him growl before running out of the room. I heard foot steps running towards the door but I wasn't sure who they were before I finally blacked out.
-Hawk's view point-
It was night by the time, we were trying to figure out anything. Dabi and I went back and forth of trying to figure out something. Finally I stopped, and just yelled at him.
"DABI SHUT THE FUCK UP!" I had enough. "Let me scout it out okay. If we rush in then they would move her. " Dabi grunted. Tsk. He looked away from me and put his hands in his pockets he knew we didn't have any other options.
Finally he looked at me, and nodded. "Look I will see if I can find the baby bird alright, or at lest get some answers." I told him. His eyes looked iced over like, life slipped away from him. He was acting cold like before he met Air. I took a deep breath, and slowly let it out, before saying anything I jumped over my clear fencing on my patio and went. I stretched out my wings and started flying. Being and under cover Hero I knew where she was being held.
I flew way out of a city to a giant campus, out in the middle of nowhere. I made my way onto the center building, and looked around. I saw some people rushing a girl out on a gurnee and I looked closely, it was Air. Her face badly beatin, and she was unconscious. I quickly flew over them trying to stay out of sight.
"Quickly, we need a blood transfusion, and get IVs going now!" One of the people was yelling while pushing her.
"who did this to her?" Another asked.
"We don't know, Aizawa and All might found her like this when they left her, someone got in and attack. They heard her scream and came running."
I started forming tears, I felt horrible for the baby bird. It was my fault that I kept telling my self that they weren't gonna do this to her. I thought they heros would protect her. But this, this is what Dabi was talking about. The tears started fall and I couldn't control it any more I want to wail out in frustration and pain.
I flew on top medical building watching the windows. I waited and hour and started circling the building looking into the windows as I past by. Finally I saw her, with a dim light beside her bed and the window opened. I quickly looked in side and it was only her. I flew in trying to be quite as possible. The only sounds was her shallow breathing and the beeping of the heart monitor. I slowly walked up to her and touched her cheek.
"I'm so sorry baby bird, I thought..." Tried to speak, but tears poured out, and I fell on my knees, clinching her hand. "I'm so- sorry" I cried out. I barried my head into the bed, sobbing.
I felt something light touch the back of my head, slowly rubbing it. "You're so loud, Angel." I heard her whisper. I perked my head up. Her eyes were open and she gave me a smile.
"Air!" I cried.
"Hi angel." I couldn't help but to blush at her.
"Look chicken wing this isn't the time to for that." She gave me a closed eye smile.
"Do I owe you a kiss again?" She asked. She took me off surprise. I cracked a smirk at her.
"Well only if you want to baby bird, but right now we got to get you out of here."
I reached over her. "Hawks? " I heard her whisper.
"Mhmm? " I answered, while pulling the cords off of her.
"Is Dabi okay?" I stopped and looked down at her. Her pretty blue eyes hypnotized me. Once again I was jealous of the zombie man. "Yeah, sweety he's fine. You'll see him soon." She gently smiled and closed her eyes and fell asleep. I pulled out the IV and disconnected the heart monitor. With the long beep I heard people running.
I cradled her frail body and started heading to the window before I heard the door bust open with heros. I never looked back I opened my wings and took off with her still in my arms.
-Dabi's view point-
I sat in the living room of Hawks, apartment still sore and bleeding. I lit another cigarette and took a long drag. It had been some time since I even smoked, I use to do it from habitat then moved to when I got to stressed out. But since I met Airmed she made everything better. I closed my eyes and breathed in deeply. My mind flash backing her face while I was being beat to a pulp. Her face of pure terror plastered on that innocent face.
I slowly opened my eyes and looked out the window. Took another drag before I heard wings beating among the wind. 'is he back?!' I stood up and walked to where I was in front of the patio door and I saw her being carried in his arms, beaten and bruised. My eyes widen as I ran up to them taking her round face into my hands trying to be as gentle as possible.
"What happen?!" I demanded. Hawks just looked down at her.
"I really don't know." I glared at at him.
"What do you mean you don't know?!" If he wasn't holding her I would have set him on fire.
"Da-bi?" I heard her whisper my name.
"I'm here love." I answered. I saw her reach up and touch my cheek.
"Dabi....warm." she smiled. My eyes widen and started to water. The line I never get tired of hearing. I kissed her forehead. Hawks sighed.
"You standing here is fine and all but my arms are kinda getting tired here." He said sarcastically. I pulled away so he could enter the apartment, and started heading to the bedroom to put her down. I fallowed close behind.
Once he placed her on the bed I sat on the other side, beside her. Hawks stood up and looked down at her.
"Well, burnt chicken I did my part the rest is up to you." I looked up to him and nodded. "I'll go sleep on the couch. Please don't stain my sheets" he laughed, walking out. I couldn't help but to chuckle.
"Damn bird." I growled. I looked down at Air leaning my back against the headboard of the bed. I patted her head, and looked at her teary eyed. "I'm so sorry baby. I did this to you, this is my fault they got you. I should of ran, I should have told you to run." Tears slowly started to drip.
I heard her grunt when I closed my eyes. "Don't...cry. Dabi." I opened my eyes and she was smiling at me.
"But baby-" she placed her fingers on my lips.
"I'm okay now. I'm with you, my love." She said so sweety. I tried to laugh through my smile.
"I bet I look like shit right now." I laughed. She smiled.
"Yeah, you kinda look a bit beat but you're still no monster to me." And there it was, the words she used since the moment we met. I lend down kissing her hard. I heard her whimper a little, so I tried to pull away, but she pulled me back and kissed just as deep.
"Air, baby, I love you." I said in between kisses.
I felt her smile under my lips. She tried to sit up, "Love no-" she kissed me hard, almost lustfully. I put my hand under her and help her sit in my lap. She nuzzled her head under my chin and rest her body against mine.
"Dabi." She whispered.
"Mhmm?" I answered.
"I want you to know, I am yours. I'm not his marionette. If I'm gonna dance for someone it will be of my own will. And I choose you to pull my strings if need to be." I felt her tears on me as she started to cry. I kissed her head.
"And I'll always be there for you. Even if I have to be a demon and burn all those fuckers for you then I shall." I heard her gave me a playful giggle.
"I love you Dabi." She said ever so sweetly.
"And I love you Airmed."
