*deep breath*

"D-daddy...?"
It was silent and that single word slipped out of Hoseok's mouth almost instinctively. He didn't mean for it to, it just slipped out. But for some strange reason, he didn't regret it. Instead, it made him feel sad and empty inside, almost as if apart of him was missing.
Jeongguk stood there in a trance, brown eyes now wide as his whole posture became stiff.
Is this a dream? He thought, words stuck in his throat as he continued to stare into Hoseok's soft brown eyes displayed in front of him.
"Take him. I'll let the two of you talk." It was Jimin's voice that pulled Jeongguk out of his thoughts.
The dark haired male snapped out of his thoughts then slowly trailed his eyes up towards Jimin who was already staring at him. He remembered vividly that those were the soft, brown eyes that held nothing but love towards the younger of the two.
Jeongguk slowly nodded, taking a single step closer whilst holding out his arms hesitantly. It had been years since he's seen Hoseok, let alone held him.
Jimin managed to smile softly. He knew that this was the best. He had to do this, for Hoseok.
For Hoseok. Jimin thought. So, with a small intake of air, he carefully gave his son to technically his other father who was stood silently in front of the two.
Jeongguk's breath caught in his throat at the feeling of his small son in his strong arms once again. He scooped him up and held him tightly in fear that he may fall from his grasp.
The dark haired male released a breath he didn't know he was holding as Hoseok hesitantly draped his tiny arms across the others neck.
Jimin and Jeongguk didn't realise since they were too busy staring at each other with sad eyes, but the three other men still present in the studio were all looking at them. It almost seemed as if the family had reunited once again.
But that wasn't the case. Not at all. After what Jeongguk did, Jimin came to the conclusion that he didn't deserve forgiveness; no matter what he did to try and make it up to him.
"Look at them..." Jin whispered with a small sigh, almost tearing up at the sight. He never thought that Jeongguk would ever get to see Hoseok ever again. But look at him now.
"I know... It's truly heartwarming." Namjoon whispered back, wrapping his arms around his husband's waist from behind as he leaned his chin on the elders shoulder.
Taehyung was silent as he stared at the sweet moment unfold right in front of his very eyes. He was happy for Jeongguk, he really was. But he couldn't help but to feel a pang of jealousy in his heart. Yes, he was well aware that there was nothing to get jealous about since Jimin had made it quite clear that he was over the younger, and Jeongguk deserved to see his son after years of being apart.
"Joonie, I feel like a proud mother for some reason." Joked Jin with a teasing grin as he spun around to face his husband who slowly trailed his eyes down to look into his.
"Not just yet, Jinnie." Replied Namjoon with a small smirk.
"Yet?" Whispered the elder, a blush now decorating his cheeks, causing his handsome features to stand out (not that they didn't anyway). This made Namjoon fall in love with Jin all over again.
"You two are making me feel lonely." Mumbled the certain silver haired male from beside the married couple, a small pout playing at his lips.
Jin whipped his head over to look at Taehyung who was already staring at him and Namjoon with a cute pout on his lips.
"But don't you have Jeon-" Namjoon begun, but Jin was quick to gasp, turn his head back around, and clamp his hands over Namjoon's mouth.
Namjoon suddenly got the message then nodded his head, his husband sighing out in relief as he slipped his hands down from the youngers mouth.
Taehyung's eyes widened as he stared over at Namjoon who was looking at the youngest one out of the three with equally big eyes.
"I'm sorry." He immediately apologized, tearing his gaze away from the silver haired males instantly.
Jin noticed and moved positions, now standing next to his lover as his hand traveled down and grabbed onto Namjoon's.
He weaved their fingers together for reassurance and Namjoon melted at the contact.
Taehyung now had a blush dusted along his cheeks at the thought of Jeongguk, his boss, being his. He knew it probably would never happen since he was quite sure the younger had no feelings for him, but he couldn't help but to sigh and fantasize about it sometimes.
Hoseok tightened his grip onto his other father's neck, shoving his face into his chest.
Jeongguk was unable to comprehend the fact that he was indeed holding his son that he hadn't seen in years in his arms. It felt surreal and he wondered if it was even real.
Jimin smiled softly, however, it didn't meet his eyes. Jeongguk knew very well this was a fake smile since whenever Jimin smiled a real smile, his eyes creased up into small, cute crescent moons.
"Take him somewhere... You and him have a lot to catch up on." Jimin whispered quietly before proceeding to turn around, however he was stopped by a tight grip on his wrist, startling him slightly.
Namjoon, Jin and Taehyung took that as their cue to leave. There was another studio next door to this one that people rarely went in, so they all silently decided to go in there to give the three some privacy.
Namjoon and Jin packed up their bags as Taehyung did the same, making sure to scoop up his shoes from the floor in the process.
"Let's go." Jin whispered to the two others who nodded their heads in agreement.
With that being said, the three dancers exited the studio but not before sending Jimin a reassuring smile.
Jimin spun around after the three dancers left the studio to give the other three some privacy.
"Jeongguk?" He asked, looking down to see that his ex had a tight grip on his wrist, causing him to stiffen up slightly.
Jeongguk had placed Hoseok down onto the floor and now the little boy was staring up at the dark haired male with wide eyes. The situation was still sinking in for him as well, so he stood there and tried his best to piece all of the puzzle pieces together in his head.
"T-thank you." Jeongguk stuttered out, fresh tears suddenly brimming up in his dark brown orbs.
Jimin looked alarmed at the sight of Jeongguk like this. Usually, the taller would build a wall up in front of him and convince everyone that he was emotionless and no one needed to care about him. But Jimin knew that on the inside, Jeongguk was a big softie with a huge heart and felt emotions just like anyone else would.
"For what?" Jimin asked, soon finding that his eyes were searching for Jeongguk's that were slightly covered by his dark bangs that draped over his head.
"Letting me see Hoseokie again..." Jeongguk replied in what seemed to be a whisper.
Jimin didn't have time to reply since he was forcefully pulled into a warm and tight embrace. His eyes widened as his arms fell by his side; he realised that Jeongguk was hugging him.
"Jungkookie... What's wrong?" Jimin breathed out shakily, cold, salty tears forming in his eyes at the use of the nickname he would always give Jungkook.
Jeongguk even tensed up upon hearing that. He soon relaxed then burried his face into Jimin's neck, allowing his true emotions to show.
Cold tears fell down from his eyes and dripped down his cheeks, soon ending up on Jimin's shirt, making it damp. He felt nothing but guilt. He regretted everything but was well aware that Jimin would never forgive him. He understood that he didn't deserve to be forgiven.
Jimin stood in the same position, frozen like a statue until he realised Jeongguk was sobbing on his shoulder, clutching onto him for dear life.
Jimin's eyes softened slightly as he sighed to himself, slowly reaching up to brush his small fingers through Jungkook's soft, black hair that was slightly wavy and messy from dancing.
"Shh, it's okay, Jungkookie... It's okay..." Whispered the elder in a soft voice, continuing his actions of brushing his fingers through the other males hair in attempt to calm him down.
It took a good few minutes before Jeongguk had calmed down and was now breathing heavily into Jimin's shoulder, eyes now sore, red and puffy.
"See? It's all okay, yeah?" The smaller male said, watching as Jeongguk slowly lifted his head up.
Jimin instinctively found his hands reaching for Jeongguk's face. Soon enough, his hands were cupping his cheeks and the two were gazing into each others eyes, just like they always used to do.
Silence enveloped the two as they carried on looking into each others eyes, not daring to break eye contact with one another.
Jeongguk leaned closer slightly but stopped all of a sudden. He sighed then rested his head onto Jimin's forehead, closing his eyes as Jimin smiled softly and did the same.
"I'm sorry, Jimin... This time, I mean it... I never meant to hurt you or my Hoseokie..."
