“H-Harry..I-I–,“
“Don't you dare lie to me.” he growled, voice low.
I gulped, my heart racing with fear. His glare could kill me since my entire body felt numb. My lower lip was trembling and no words came out of my mouth. Like really, what could I say? Lies? No, that would make things worse. The truth? Oh God, I was so screwed.
“Little bitchy you know, sneaking out of the house behind my back.” he remarked, voice laced with anger.
“Little stupid you know, telling an adult what to do in her own house!” I yelled, my frozen blood starting to boil now.
His nostrils flared as he clenched his jaw. “You're the stupid one here, Rebecca!” he yelled back, throwing his hand in the air next to my head. “You always act like you know everything when you clearly have no idea what the fuck is going on!”
My breath hitched and a small jolt of hurt was sent through me but I ignored it. “You're the one that acts to know everything!” I scowled.
“I don't act! I know!” he shouted, vain popping out on his neck.
Fuck, that's hot.
Get your shit together.
“No you don't! You think you know what I want and what I feel but you know nothing!” I moved my hands in the air, widening my eyes at him.
“You yourself don't know what you want, Rebecca.” he shot, his tone harsh.
I let a humorless laugh. “How typical of you, always giving me the blame.”
“I'm fucking trying to protect you!” he hissed, taking a step closer to me.
“You better stop treating me like a child though.” I snapped, glaring up at him.
“Look at you,” he threw his hands towards me. “You act like a fucking child, how do you expect me to treat you?” he scolded.
I fisted my palms, growing angrier with each word he says. “You obviously don't know anything about me.” I said boldly, shaking my head in dissapointment, my eyes never leaving his angry ones.
“Don't take it there,” he warned, giving me a serious stare. “The point is you never listen to me. How do you expect me to believe you when you keep doing such things behind my back?!” his voice was escalating once again.
“You have to trust me and let me go out! You can't keep me in here, Harry. I'm not staying here.” I crossed my arms over my chest.
“For once, let go of your stubborness and listen to me! That's what you did with the club and you were attacked! Imagine what could happen if you go out today while I'm at practise?” he was so mad at me, I could see it in his green eyes.
“We can't live with fear. Harry, I want to live normally, why can't you understand that?!” I sighed out of frustration.
He took a deep breath. “Go to your room, Rebecca. You're not going anywhere.” he demanded, pointing at the stairs.
I scoffed. “It's my house.”
“I don't give a fuck, go to your room right now!” he shouted, causing me to flinch.
Annoyed and frustrated that he wouldn't give up, I let an angry sound from my lips and turned around, heading upstairs. I was beyond mad at him. He did not only screw my mood, but made me feel helpless.
I knew that if I tried to leave the house right after he leaves, it would be much worse. Sighing in defeat, I kicked off my boots and jumped on the bed, hiding my face in a pillow and groaning loudly.
I heard the front door closing shut and I let a loud scream of anger that was muffled by my pillow. I had to take all the anger on something and the pillow was the right decision. And I knew that Harry heard me from outside, his ears can hear everything.
“He's so annoying...” I grumbled, sighing right after.
The sound of his car's engine roaring in life was heard from outside and I pulled my head back from the pillow to face palm myself. I am so stupid. I didn't hear his car leaving to make sure he was gone before I leave.
Everything he said was because of his anger, so I don't take his insults seriously. I could've said much worse things to him, but I didn't. Rolling on my back, I glared up at the ceiling. I had absolutely nothing to do for today and he screwed my plans.
I heard a horn from outside minutes later, informing me that Hannah was waiting for me. Sighing, I stood up and headed downstairs, my feet hitting louder the floor than usual. I opened the door to find Hannah poking her head out of her car's window, her long blonde hair falling on her shoulder as she did so, wearing a deep red lipstick and grinning brightly at me.
“Come on, girl! Time to go and have fun!” she cheered, pressing the horn.
“I'm not coming!” I said loudly.
Her eyes widened and her jaw fell. “What? Why not?” she whined.
“Uh, Harry and I had a fight and I'm not in the mood. Sorry,” I apologetically shrugged my shoulders.
She nodded, frowning a little. “Was it a serious fight or..?”
“We'll get over it. Have fun.” I blew her a kiss, gaining a grin from her.
“Oh. Okay, see ya, hun.” she winked before driving off.
I closed the door shut and leaned my back against it, my hands behind my ass. I looked up at the ceiling and inhaled deeply, bored and still pissed off. My stomach was closed for good so I didn't want to eat anything. Guess I'll have to go upstairs and find a way to kill my time.

I was literally bored to death.
It's been 2 hours since Harry left for practise and our intense fight.
For the past 2 hours, I texted Niall my problems. Niall texted me that I'm keeping him busy but I didn't mind. I kept sending him messages until he gave up and replied much faster than before.
Niall: Practise's done. Guess who's coming.
My eyes widened, knowing that Harry was going to be here in a couple of minutes. I knew he would still be mad at me, but I wasn't going to back off. He has to understand I'm a human being and I can make my own decisions, he doesn't need to boss me around, using the excuse of protection.
Rebecca: I'm not ready for another fight -.-
Niall: If he does anything to you, I'm beating his ass.
I laughed at his reply, shaking my head with amusement. Niall didn't know the reason Harry and I fought. He just knew we had a fight. Because really, explaining to him the whole demon-thing was hard.
Rebecca: I would love to see something like that lmao ☺
Niall: No you don't!
Rebecca: Fine, you win :s
Niall: Typical me ✌❤
The sound of Harry's car parking outside the car hit my ears, sending a jolt of nervoussness through me. I took a deep breath, typing quickly on my phone.
Rebecca: He's here..Talk to you tomorrow❤ :/
Niall: Take care babe❤
The front door opened, bringing a knot to my stomach. I heard his footsteps as he walked in and closed the door, heading upstairs. My mouth was dry as his footsteps got louder and louder. I wasn't ready for another fight, but I knew that it was inevitable, and I was determined to support my opinions.
A huge wave of relief washed through me when Harry stepped into his bedroom, closing the door behind him. Minutes later, he entered the shower and then quickly back to his bedroom. I didn't mind going out and seeing him, I prefered staying in my bedroom.
I heard him going down the stairs, wich meant he was probably going to the living room or the kitchen. Kitchen. My stomach grumbled, reminding me that I didn't eat anything since he left. What am I saying? I haven't eaten since morning.
God, I'm so hungry.
I took a deep breath before leaving my bedroom, walking in a slow pace downstairs. I saw Harry in the living room, lying on the couch with the phone in his hands, topless, wearing black sweats. I didn't say anything to him and entered the kitchen.
I was too bored to cook a meal so I made hot chocolate and grabbed a big bag of cookies. I sat in the dining room, eating my cookies and drinking my hot chocolate, alone.
I was scrolling through Instagram again, one hand with my phone and the other bringing the cup to my lips to take a sip. I saw Harry walking into the kitchen, not even glancing at me on his way. I shrugged, knowing he was still pissed off.
I wished the tension could diminish when I entered the kitchen and saw him in, holding a bowl of cereal in his hands, leaning against a counter. As he took a moutful of cereal, he glanced up at me and we locked eyes. They were cold and distant, wich made me shiver. He looked away almost immidiately, bringing a punch to my stomach.
I placed my cup in the sink and threw the empty bag in the trash, wishing he would say something. When he didn't, I sighed and slowly made my way upstairs. He still didn't want to talk to me..
I pushed the door to my bedroom open with my foot, causing a loud noise that I knew he heard from downstairs. I jumped on the bed and lied on my back, spreading my legs and arms as I exhaled deeply. I hate it so much when we don't talk, but it's not only my fault.
I closed my eyes for a minute, trying to calm my nerves down. The room was darker as I had my lights turned off and outside the moon was shining, bringing a dim light to the room. I suddenly felt a cold breeze hitting my arms, giving me chills. I opened my eyes and furrowed my brows.
I almost felt my heart being ripped out of my chest when I saw a black figure in the corner of the room, staring at me with black eyes.
I suddenly felt two invisible hands taking hold of my wrists, tightening their grip around them. I moved legs and arms, fear taking over me in seconds. I was pinned down on the mattress, gasping for air as all the oxygen was knocked out of my lungs.
I screamed loudly, seeing the figure coming closer. I shook my head, trying to control my tears as they burned in the back of my eyes. My skin on my wrists ached terribly when I felt sharp nails digging in, cutting the surface.
The light was suddenly turned on and a stressed Harry came in, giving me a bewildered look. The figure dissapeared like smoke and the hold around my wrists pulled away, finally letting me breath.
Harry sat next to me like a flash the second I turned my head to look at him. He had a concerned expression on his face that broke my heart. He wrapped an arm around me, bringing me against his chest as he tried to calm me down.
I breathed heavily, trying to fill my lungs with enough oxygen. It was so calming and so overwhelming being in his hug again, especially after what happened earlier today.
“Shh, calm down.” he cooed, fondling my hair.
“Harry,” I gasped. “He was here..” I mumbled, my voice shakey.
He didn't respond, he just kept holding me close. When I finally managed to calm myself down, I pulled back, my cheeks blushing. Harry kept staring at me, studying my face and expression with his emerald eyes.
“You better now?” he asked gently.
I nodded, running a shakey hand through my hair. Harry placed his hand on my thigh, squeezing gently. I shyly looked up at his eyes, afraid he will turn to cold again. But I was wrong, since his eyes were full of concern and worry.
“See Harry? I didn't have to go out to be attacked by him..” I muttered.
He sighed, pressing his lips in a flat line. “Yeah...but what would you do if I weren't here?” he asked, a small hint of sarcasm hidden in his voice.
I shrugged slightly, not knowing what to answer. Of course, I was glad he was here and made the figure–demon dissapear.
“I think he's afraid of you..” I murmured, looking down.
“Well,” he shifted his body a little and sat back down. “At least he would listen to me when I talk..”
“Harry,” I sighed, taking his hand. We locked eyes, my heart skipping a beat. “It's not that I don't want to listen to you. It's just that I don't want to stay in this house because..” I trailed off, looking away.
Harry leaned closer, turning his hand so our palms were pressed against each others. “Because what?” he asked, his voice low.
“Because I feel like I'm a hostage, Harry.”
Harry's breath hitched a little at my words, hurt flashing behind his eyes. I pressed my lips in a soft line, sad for saying that but I had to. He needed to know to understand why I want to go out and have fun.
“You still feel like I'm controlling you?” he asked slowly.
I nodded. “I know you don't want to make me feel this way, Harry. But you need to stop it..” I said softly.
He sighed, running his free hand through his curls. “Fine.”
“Really?” I started smiling.
“Yeah.” he said softly, pulling me closer to him again.
I rested my head on his shoulder. He kissed my forehead, sending a wave of warmth wash through me. I was relieved and glad we finally stopped arguing.
“I'm sorry for trying to sneak out behind your back..” I murmured, moving my head to bring my lips on his bare shoulder.
“It's okay, babe. Just don't do it again.” he said, running his hand up and down my back.
“I was so bored today..” I said.
“That's because I wasn't here.” Harry smirked.
I rolled my eyes. “Shut up, if I were gone for 2 hours you would be bored to death.” I shot.
He shook his head. “Nah, not really. I would finally have a break. I can't stand your voice anymore.” he teased, gaining a glare from me.
“Harry, don't make me kick you out of my bedroom.”
“Fine, fine.” he rolled his eyes. “You know I don't want to waste my time on shit and not being with you, right?” he asked me with a smile.
My heart raced, another smile making it's way on my lips. “That's why you went to practise today.”
“Hey, I couldn't do anything about it.” he innocently shrugged.
“Harry.” I gave him a “I'm not buying it” look.
“Okay. I wanted to go and play football since you upset today.” he huffed, rolling his eyes once more.
“I said I'm sorry.”
“I know babe, no need to repeat yourself.” he kissed my forehead again.
“I'm tired, can we sleep?” I asked sweetly.
“How can you be tired when you did absolutely nothing today?” he asked, giving me a weird look.
“Fine. Harry, get out of my bedroom.” I stood up, teasing him.
He widened his eyes. “Oh c'mon!” he whined, causing me to laugh.
“Out. Now.” I pointed at the door.
He stood up and walked over the bed, standing in front of me. I gave him a fake serious look, trying not to laugh from the inside. He placed his hand on my hips, making me suck in a breath and blush.
He smirked. “You look so beautiful with red cheeks.”
I cleared my throat, happiness flooding through my body. “You're still not sleeping here tonight.”
“Rebeccaaaa,” he whined. “You know you like it when I hold you close at nights.” he winked.
I couldn't help but chuckle and smile, nodding in agreement. “Yeah, I guess that's true.” I said.
“So I'm sleeping here tonight, yeah?” he raised a brow, grinning at me.
“Yeah, you are.”

A/N: Okay, so things are still a little complicated, stay tuned to find out what's gonna happen with them two ^^
And I never wanna sound like complaining, because I truly appreciate everything you guys do, but I can't help but be a little pissed off with what's happening. This story has 86 chapters and has over 250+K reads, while other fanfics with just 32 chapters have over 9M reads..Idk what to say, I'm just pissed off when I see some writers having so many reads and not appreciating that and thanking their readers..It just sickens me.
Sorry, I had to let it out.
And I'm not writing this to make you feel bad, seriously, you guys deserve so many things, you are all so great and always make me feel happy!! I just wrote that to support (if you want to say it like that) the readers that never get noticed by their writers.
Anyways, I know it's boring..But I needed to share my opinion with you guys that seem to always understand me :) And please forgive me for not dedicating chapters for so long, I don't have a pc anymore and no wi-fi so it's a little hard to write/update/dedicate chapters...my life sucks and you always seem to make it better! So please be patient with all the dedicating-thing, I promise I will dedicate my chapters to you. Thank you all for reading babes, love you all ❤
