I couldn't get in what the hell was going on. I couldn't understand if all this was true or another game Louis was just playing with my brain. I couldn't realize if he was really there.
My heart raced with shock. The guy that stood in front of us was so charming, so beautiful and handsome. Those blue-green eyes I only saw once were now shining with happiness but had a hint of guilt in them. His brown hair were falling on his forehead and his muscular body seemed relaxed as he stood in front of us. He was wearing all white. White tee, exposing his biceps and tattoos that caught my attention, white jeans and white shoes.
A white, shining light glowed around him, making him look like an angel. His plump, thin lips curled up in a small smile that made him look so kind and sweet, that I had to blink and even pinch myself to make sure I wasn't imagining all those things. The aura around him was peaceful that made you forget all of your pain and fear.
"You seem like you've seen a ghost," he chuckled, the sound making my heart to skip a beat.
None of us answered as we kept staring at him in pure shock and confusion. How could this be Louis? How could this demon be so beautiful and charming like him? How did this happen? What happened?
My throat was dry as my mouth was wide open. That was so weird yet so...nice? If that guy was Louis..who was that black figure we saw burning only minutes ago?
"Okay, seriously guys, I'm starting to think that you're the dead guys in here," he said, chuckling to himself as he lightly shook his head in amusement.
"L-Louis?" Harry murmured, his voice thin and laced with worry.
"That's me, bro." Louis smirked proudly, showing his torso.
I couldn't help the weird look that I gave to him, neither the awkward, small smile that appeared on my lips because of the sight of Louis smiling. He just seemed so pure and sincere that made an exclusively strong part of me like him.
From the corner of my eye I saw Harry start walking. He got and stood in front of Louis before opening his arms and wrapping them around him, giving him a warm embrace.
The sight of Harry hugging Louis only brought joy and happiness in my heart that tears formed into my eyes. Sniffling, I blinked them away and folded my hands in front of me.
Louis hugged Harry so tightly, as if he was afraid he might dissapear in seconds. A stupid tear fell down my cheek the second Louis glanced up at me, causing my stomach to turn.
"I missed you so much," Harry said, his voice muffled by Louis' shoulder.
"Missed you too, Hazz," Louis said, closing his eyes as he enjoyed the moment.
My heart cracked. Two brothers just reunited again, sharing feelings and showing to each other their love. A sob came out from the back of my throat, causing another tear to fall down the corner of my eye. Wiping the tear with the back of my hand, I watched the two boys.
Louis pulled back and patted Harry's shoulders, a small, cheeky grin plastered on his beautiful features. Harry's body seemed to relax under Louis' touch, wich meant that he had a big affect on him.
"Look at you," Louis started. "Big and tough." he chuckled, causing Harry to do the same.
"What happened to you? Where have you been?" Harry asked, rushing the words.
Louis' smile fell a little as he looked down and pressed his lips in a tight line. Frowning, I took a tiny step further, wanting to listen to the story. Louis sighed before looking up at Harry with guilty eyes.
"Evil took me under. I wanted revenge and that lead me to turning to that thing," he grimaced. "It was horrible. I felt a lot of pain, each second that passed only brought me closer to that dull ache and feeling of loneliness. I needed your help but every time I ended up drowning you to sins. Harry," he sighed. "You were the only one I had, and I didn't want to lose you. I didn't want to stay alone with it."
My heart tugged at Louis' words. That was exactly what I felt, except the part of the evil. That pain that stakingly takes over your heart is one of the worst feelings someone could experience.
"With what?" Harry questioned, tilting his head to the right a little.
"With evil. It turned me to a demon and there was no way I could escape." his eyes drifted to me. "Until she came."
I sucked in a breath and furrowed my brows. Harry turned his head and glanced at me before refocusing on Louis.
"Go on," he nodded.
"From the first night you caught her, I knew she had that light inside of her. And as much as I wanted her to help me, I knew that she was capable of taking you away from me, because I was connected to you. If she made evil dissapear, that would mean I would leave you for good, and my goal of revenge would never be reached."
"So that's why you were so obssesed with me killing her." Harry spoke, his voice low.
"Yeah," Louis shrugged awkwardly. "I couldn't control it."
"I know what you mean." Harry nodded in agreement.
I felt kinda useless as I stood a few feet away from them. I shouldn't be here right now, but I knew that I couldn't leave. So I had to wait. After all, I wanted to know what Louis had to say.
"She took the evil out of you and almost send me away. That's why I was so mad at her. However, she always seemed to survive," he glanced at me again. "Tough girl." he noted, making me smile awkwardly.
"That's what I told her too." Harry turned and looked at me with shining, happy green eyes.
I looked down at my feet, feeling really uncomfortable. I don't like it when people copliment me, it's awkward as hell and especially right now, I didn't know what to say. "Thanks" wouldn't be the best thing to say, so I didn't say a word.
"C'mon, Rebecca," Louis said, making me look up at him. "You know me for a month now, why so uncomfortable?" he teased.
A lump appeared on my throat. Wow, Louis was nothing with the person that send me to death more than once. His teasing tone brought another smile on my lips.
"To be honest...I don't think I know you at all.." I mumbled, shifting my shoulders awkwardly.
A light chuckle came past Louis' lips that curled up in a grin. Harry gave me a happy expression that made the butterflies in my stomach dance like crazy. Louis let go of Harry and turned to me before he started walking toward me.
My eyes widened and I instictively took some steps back, keeping distance between me and him. Louis' smile faded slowly and guilt appeared in his eyes again. Inhaling deeply, I fisted my palms on my sides.
"Rebecca, I know you're afraid of me.." he started calmly, his voice thin and sweet. "But there's no need to. I'm not what you saw anymore. I just.." he looked away. "I wanted to thank you."
My heart came up to my throat. All this was too much for me to handle but I somehow managed to keep the tears from falling. Enough with the crying, Rebecca. Swallowing hard, I parted my lips to speak.
"For what?" I asked with a shakey voice.
Louis shook his head, giving me the same "don't be stupid" look Harry always gives me. "Because of you I'm here right now. Because of you I can finally rest in peace."
"B-but I didn't do a-anything." I stammered.
"You did, Rebecca." he smiled without his teeth. "You brought the light back to my soul." he closed the space between us now. "Thank you."
Without realizing it, I was in Louis' warm embrace, his arms wrapping around me easily and keeping me close to his body. My heart almost got out of my ribs at his gentle gesture that brought happy tears to my eyes. Don't cry.
What surprised me the most, was that his hug not only took away all my pain, but made me feel safe and peaceful. It made my soul relax and that beautiful overwhelming feeling of freedom flooded through me.
My arms wrapped around his waist, keeping him even closer since I didn't want this to end. My soul could finally relax, no stress, no pain, no pressure, no tears. It was pure happiness coming out of Louis' skin and it made me feel alive again. As if the pieces of my heart finally have been replaced again.
"And I'm sorry for everything horrible I did to you. I'm really sorry." he said with guilt and honesty laced in his angelic voice.
It was so confusing yet so overwhelming the way Louis spoke to me. His once creepy voice was now angelic that every person would smile just because of him talking or laughing. His once terrifying eyes had now that breathtaking blue-green colour that showed every emotion he felt. His once skin that created that black figure and brought only pain to my body every time he touched me, brought only the feeling of peace and harmony.
"I-it's okay, Louis," it felt odd saying his name. "I forgive you."
Louis exhaled deeply the second I said the last second and I closed my eyes as I enjoyed his tight embrace. I suddenly felt something soft on my fingers that I had to pull back and see what it is.
My jaw literally touched the ground.
Louis' face was the definition of purity as he smiled at me, green eyes showing happiness. He had two, large, big, beautiful, white wings behind his back that brought light into the room.
"Wow." I breathed, staring with awe at him.
"Louis, you have wings." Harry spoke, his emerald eyes widening in surprise.
"I know, baby," Louis smirked, causing me and Harry to chuckle. "And that's all because of her," he pointed at me, making me furrow my brows. "Again."
"How?" I asked curious.
"You forgave my 10 sins, love." he answered.
"Oh.." I didn't quite understand what that meant.
"She's a good one, Harry." Louis turned to look at him. "Take care of her."
My heart raced when me and Harry locked eyes. I gave him a small smile that he gladly returned, but something flashed behind his eyes that wasn't happiness. I couldn't understand what it was though since he covered it quickly by moving his gaze to Louis.
"Yeah, I will. Even though I think she can take care of herself. She's a tough girl." Harry smirked as he glanced at me.
"Believe me, I know that better than anyone." Louis huffed, grinning at me.
"I know you do." Harry agreed, walking closer to us.
He came and stood next to me, our arms brushing against each other. I smiled at him and he smiled back before we both refocused on Louis.
His eyes flitted back and forth between me and Harry, a proud smirk on his face. It kinda confused me but I didn't say anything as he spoke first.
"You two can do great things together." he said, surprising me. "Keep that in mind." he winked before turning around and walking towards the window.
"Louis wait," Harry's words brought Louis to a halt. He turned his head and glanced at Harry from his shoulder. "You're leaving me? Just like that?"
I heard the hurt in Harry's voice, causing my stomach to turn into knots.
"Oh Harry," Louis smiled kindly. "I'll always be with you. And please be careful of your sins."
"But you're leaving now." Harry remarked, his voice low.
"No Harry. I'm going to rest in peace, but I'll always protect you." he glanced at me, his smile growing bigger. "Besides, you're in good hands."
I blushed but smiled shyly at him. My heart was still not completely calm as I saw Harry's eyes slowly falling.
"You know how much I love you, don't you, Louis?" Harry asked woth a trembling voice, taking a step forward.
Louis nodded. "I know, Harry, I know." and with that, he slowly faded.
The light glowed even brighter than before, almost blinding me. I had to cover my forehead with the back of my hand to protect my eyes as I watched Louis' wings wrapping around his body and slowly taking him away from us.
Louis' peaceful eyes connected with Harry's, a big grin plastering on his fading, charming face. I smiled as the two brothers stated at each other, countless emotions flying in the air between us. Louis' angelic voice echoed in the air before he completely dissapeared.
"Always in my heart Harry, yours sincerely Louis."
