No Point of View

His heart broke a little, just a little as he stared down at her bleeding body, the wounds he caused, the pain he brought back to her. He was holding his breath, a jolt of guilt was send through him and the small part inside of him was begging him to help her.

He looked at the blood of river behind her, frowing slightly and letting a groan escape his lips as the thought of cleaning up the mess later came in his mind.

He kneeled down in front of her and pushed away a strand of hair away from her face. She seemed pained, scared and weak. His heart was shaking inside his chest and he could hear her beating heart slowing her pace, which meant that she was now slowly dying.

“No.” he demanded and pulled the knife from his waistband. “I said you're not going to die yet.”

He scratched his wrist with the knife and pressed the cut on her lips, feeling her mouth with enough blood that will heal her wounds. He let a small sigh as he pulled his wrist back and the cut was immidiately healed.

“I won't let him kill you.” he promised, his voice nothing more than a whisper.

The back of his fingers grazed soothingly down her cheek that was now healing quickly because of his blood that ran in her system and veins. He was somehow glad he could heal her, otherwise she wouldn't be breathing at that moment. She would've died from the first violent move he did on her, wich was stabbing her side.

Her loud screams echoed in his head and he closed his eyes shut, trying to stop thinking about it. Everything was slowly fading away and he knew he was losing control again. He didn't want that again though, he wanted it to be like it was 58 years ago, when he could do anything he wanted to.

He stood up and walked back to his room, closing the door behind him and looking straight at the pillow with the dry droplets of blood. Chills were send down his spine and he quickly moved his gaze away, trying not to remember what happened. That horrible night seemed to haunt his head and he knew that he didn't want that anymore.

That small part of him that came slightly back to light wanted only one thing; freedom. But it was really difficult to gain it again. He let another sigh and ran a hand through his messy curls before he walked across the room and sat on the edge of the bed.

“What am I going to do?” he muttered to himself, feeling like there was nothing he could do. “She hates me..she won't–she can't..” he trailed off, hiding his face in his hands.

Two sides of him were fighting. There was still his dark side, but there was still his stonger side. A side that held a part of him that wanted to come back to light and change everything, make it better. But he couldn't do it. He didn't have the right. He didn't have control. He didn't have his innocence.

Rebecca's POV

My heart came up to my throat when I heard his words. Maybe I was dreaming of it, but I swear it was clear. I heard the words clearly and they made my body to shake.

“I won't let him kill you.”

Let who kill me? He's the one that almost send me to death 3 times. It's really confusing but now that I heard the softness, the kindness in his voice..I did believe he still cares. And from that moment, I wanted to help, as much weird that sounded, I really did.

Feeling dizzy, I slowly opened my eyes to see that I'm still lying on the floor outside his door. I looked behind me to see that the blood was cleaned, bringing a frown to my face.

I slowly stood up and felt that my body gained back it's power, wich meant something; he gave me his blood. Which means something else; his words were real.

Without hesitation, I knocked his door, anxious and scared, but I was brave enough to do it. I stood straight, waiting for his response.

He opened the door and his black eyes connected with mine, making my stomach to twist. He looked down my body and then back up to my face. He raised a brow, quietly gesturing me to talk.

“Y-you gave me your blood.” I said quietly and he nodded.

“You asked for it.” he said flatly, no emotion in his voice or face.

“Since when do you give me everything I ask?” I tilted my head to the side.

He furrowed his brows in concetration. “It was the first and the last time, love.”

“I knew it was.” I muttered, narrowing my eyes at him.

“What do you want?” he cleared his throat, sounding slightly annoyed.

“I..” I lost the words. It took me a couple of seconds and a deep breaths to part my lips and say my next words. “Thank you..I guess..”

His eyes widened and his lips were pressed in a soft line. He seemed frozen and surprised by my words, which made me even more anxious. He nodded and looked down for a second before he looked back up to my face. Something flashed behind his eyes but I couldn't quiet see what it was, but it definitely had an affect on me as my heart skipped a beat.

The aura that was created around us was something strange. I couldn't describe how I felt in the pit of my stomach as I kept staring at his black eyes that seemed to soften while they were staring back to my own. The whole feeling was something unknown yet familiar to my heart. It was overwhelming, confusing and somehow relaxing. His face was calm and if he didn't have his black eyes, you could see a normal beautiful curly-haired boy, staring at you, making you feel different things you never felt before.

He nodded one more time and leaned back. “Go to your room.” he said cooly and closed the door.

I felt like my heart was racing and I let a deep breath I didn't even know was holding. A small smile was formed on my lips as I walked back to my room, but it quickly faded away when I looked at Michael's dead body still on the floor.

I closed my eyes to calm myself down before it could take control and make me vomit. I wanted so badly Michael's body to be buried and not burned like my friends' were. He deserved being respected this way–not that my friends' didn't–and I wanted to ask him if he could just...if he would let me burry him myself, if it's needed. But I knew I couldn't go back to his room again, not now.

So, I walk across the room and sat on the bed, feeling tired and lightheaded. I layed on my back and avoided to stare at the dry droplets of blood that were on the ceiling, in case something like the last time would happen to me.

Minutes passed and they turned into a couple of hours before I heard the door of his room cracking open. I immidiately sat up, staring at my door and waiting for it to open. My stomach turned when I saw the doorknob pulled down and the door opened, bringing his tall figure into the room.

“H-hey.” I stammered and he looked at my face.

“Hey.” he gave me a small nod and looked down at Michael's body.

He crouched down and grabbed his arm, pulling his body upwards and bringing him on his shoulder. He stood straight and turned on his wheel to carry him outside.

“Wait.” I said and stood up, making him stop and glance at me from his shoulder.

“What?” he asked, furrowing his brows a little.

“Can we...can I burry him?” I asked uncomfortably.

He raised a brow. “What?”

“Please? Just–I don't want his body to be burned like my friends'.” I sighed, threwing my hair towards Michael's body that was on his shoulder.

A frown appeared on his face as he thought of my words. He looked slightly annoyed but still consfused. My hands were shaking so I pressed them together and tried to stop them, my heart racing as more minutes pass and I still didn't get an answer. He stared at the floor thoughtfully, before he glanced up at me, making me hold my breath. He was staring at me suspiciously, his eyes narrowing and his jaw set.

“Fine.” he sighed, breaking the silence and sending a bolt of relief through me.

I couldn't hide the small smile on my lips. “Thanks.” I said quietly and his eyes widened again, but he quickly recovered as he turned his head so I couldn't see his face.

“But you are going to dig the hole, not me.” he snapped and started walking downstairs.

I followed him quickly outside the house. The sun had dissapeared and the moon was now using it's light to show us our way. The cold breeze hit my skin and made me shiver, but I ignored it since I my head was still on giving peace to Michael's body.

We walked for a few minutes before he stopped and placed Michael's body on the ground, a little more loud than necessary. I grimaced at his actions and looked around to find something that will help me to dig the hole, but there was nothing.

“Oh yeah, did I forget to mention that you'll have to use your hands?” he sarcastically said, making me glare at him.

He was smirking and had his arms crossed over his chest. I shook my head in disapproval and sighed. There was nothing else I could do..

“It will take you all night.” he noted, making me clench my jaw.

“Maybe you could help?” I asked and he furrowed his brows.

“No way. I'm not doing it.” he argued, making me sigh again. “And don't forget that I'm the one that's demanding here.”

“How can I forget?” I murmured to myself and sighed again as I kneeled down and started digging a hole with my hands.

The mud was soft but disgusting as it sticked on my hands. I tried not to grimace every time my hands were stuck into the mud but it wasn't that easy. Suddenly, droplets of rain fell on my face and arms and my jaw fell.

“You have got to be kidding me.” I cursed under my breath and looked up at the sky to see the dark clouds covering most part of it, carrying water with them.

“What's wrong, sweetheart?” he asked in a mocking tone and I looked at him.

He was sitting on a branch, his back collided with the tree and an elbow resting on his knee. He looked amused with my status and I sighed again.

More droplets of rain fell on my face and clothes, making me groan in frustration. I looked at Michael's lifeless body, sending a wave of guilt wash through me. I took a deep breath and shook my head. There was no way I could burry him while raining.

“We can just throw him in the river.” he suggested, making my head to snap towards him.

He wasn't smirking, neither there was a hint of mock behind his voice. He looked serious but not angry. He looked..different. I thought about his request. It wasn't a bad idea, even though I wanted so badly Michael to be burried as normal people. I sighed and nodded before I stood up and felt more droplets of rain fall on my entire body.

He jumped from the tree he was sitting on and stood on his feet on the ground, surprising me at how the ground shook under his feet. I gulped when he came out of the dark that was caused from the tree's shadow and crouched down to lift Michael's body on his shoulder.

He turned to look at me, his gaze intense. He started walking towards the way to the river and I followed him. I couldn't believe we were going back there, again. I felt a knot in the pit of my stomach at the thought of something happening to me again because of him. I don't know what...probably getting slapped again.

We approached the river and I felt shivers travelling down my spine at the sight of it. We walked closer to it and he looked down at me. I looked back up at him, tears forming in my eyes as I felt my heart breaking.

I looked at the river and nodded before I closed my eyes, allowing my tears to fall. I heard his body falling in the river, causing a splashing sound. A sob escaped my lips and I presses them in a tight line. I forced my eyes to look at the river to find Michael's body slowly fading away, all the guilt washing away from my body.

I looked at him and gasped when I found him staring at me, a hint of sadness flashing behind his eyes. My heart seemed to pick up the pieces as I stare through his black eyes. He leaned closer, making my lower lip to tremble. He raised his hand, making me lose my breath as the thought of hurting me came into my head.

He brought hesitentaly his hand closer to my face until it touched my cheek, making me flinch at his cold skin on mine. He seemed so...gentle. I couldn't ignore how my heart plammered inside my chest and how hot I felt my skin at that moment. My body leaned closer to him, sending heat through my body.

His eyes landed on my lips as he leaned even closer. He looked so beautiful, the moonlight was hitting his skin and showed better his features. My head was dizzy, all I could see was him, all I thought about was him, but most mysteriously?

All I wanted was him.
