(POV Chaz)
Avery Silvestre. She has a ravishing face with a pair of lovely eyes. I saw her quite a few times on magazine covers. She is oozing with self confidence as if she can command any man in this planet.
Avery also has a bad reputation pagdating sa relationship. Hindi na ata mabilang ang mga lalaki na na-link sa kanya. She is a playgirl, and yet, men all over the world are chasing her.
Hindi ko lang inaasahan na magtatagpo ang landas namin ni Avery Silvestre. Like I am in a deep spell, I answered all of her questions without leaving any details. I want to push her out of the car, pero wala ako magawa dahil sa kanyang supernatural compulsion. I am in hurry to be with my brother and this bitch is the least of my concern.
"Hindi ka madalas sa club, tama ba? Ngayon lang kita kasi kita nakita," tanong ni Avery habang nakatitig sa akin.
I can see her cleavage from my peripheral vision which is quite distracting.
"I am not fond of the night life. I have just arrived from the US a few weeks ago," sagot ko sa kanya.
It seems that she has the power to get everything she wants. I can't hide anything from her if she has the power to extract all information from me.
She should work as a federal investigator. At least doon, may silbi siya...
"I like you, Chaz. I don't know why, but I like you."
"Oh I know you like a lot of men, Avery. Is that your pick-up line if you want to spend your night with them?" natatawa kong sabi sa kanya, but she frowned at me like she was offended.
"Be my boyfriend, Chaz. I want to be your girlfriend. I want to know more about you."
"You are asking me to be your boyfriend? You are one hell of a crazy woman!" I said as I shake my head in disbelief.
I know that there are a lot of provocative women these days, but Avery is on a different level. Include the fact that she is a witch.
"Be my boyfriend. In return, I will heal Clayne. Is that a deal?"
"Avery, that is a good offer, but Clayne's condition is already at its worst. He sustained multiple damages to his muscles and to his nerves. His bones are completely crushed. We no longer have a choice, but to remove one of his legs."
"My offer still stands. Be mine, Chaz."
"Sure, whatever."
Pagbaba namin sa sasakyan, I removed my coat and gave it Avery. Her glittering top that covers almost nothing is not appropriate in this place. My mother will not be happy kung ang unang babaeng ipapakilala ko sa kanya ay isang model na na-link sa napakaraming lalake.
I know it is weird, but I am hoping that Avery can heal Clayne. It is far from possible, but my brother's future is in her hands.
Nang makita ako ng mommy ko, sinalubong niya ako agad at niyakap. Alam ko na nag-aalala siya para kay Clayne sa mga oras na ito at pinipigilan niya lang ang umiyak.
"Mommy, this is Avery. My---"
"Girlfriend. I am his girlfriend po. I am pleased to meet you po. Chaz told me a lot of good things about you po. I am so honored to meet you po."
Bakit sobrang polite mo naman ata? Nasobrahan ka ata ng PO?
"Avery Silvestre? The international model?"
Kahit ang mommy ko, hindi maitago ang pagka bigla sa pagkakita niya kay Avery. Alam niya na sikat na model ang kasama ko. Alam din niya na wala akong girlfriend.
"Yes, po. I want to see Clayne po sana before his operation. Alone, if that is alright?"
Tumango lang si mommy sa kanya. I guess ginamitan na naman niya ng super powers niya para pumayag na makita si Clayne. Pumasok si Avery sa loob ng kwarto ni Clayne at ilang saglit pa ay lumabas na ang mga doctors at nurses.
"May girlfriend ka na pala, mukhang huli ako sa balita?" naka pout na sabi ni mommy habang nasa labas kami ng room ni Clayne.
"Mommy, wag ka mag alala. Kahit ako nabigla din."
"I don't like her, mukhang maarte at malandi, but somehow I can feel that she is a good person."
Judgemental ang mommy ko madalas, but she always try to find something good sa kahit sinong tao. She clearly does not like Avery, but I know she is not closing her doors.
"Anak, Avery looks so in love with you. Mahal mo ba siya or maglalaro ka na naman ng trial and error?"
Humalakhak lang ako sa tanong niya. Hindi niya alam, I just met this enchantress a few minutes ago and she just forced me to be her boyfriend.
Within minutes, lumabas si Avery at kasunod na niya si Clayne na naglalakad. His legs are fully healed na parang hindi nasagasaan ng sasakyan.
Sino ang may sabi na walang himala? This is indeed a fucking miracle!
"Gasgas lang naman po pala ang nangyari kay Clayne. Dapat hindi niyo na po siya dinala sa hospital," nakangiti na sabi Avery.
"Gasgas lang? Clayne, anak. Kamusta ang pakiramdam mo?" naguguluhan na tanong ni mommy.
"Mommy, I am fine. Thanks to Ate Avery. Kuya, salamat sa girlfriend mo, nakakalakad na ako," sagot ni Clayne with his signature all-knowing smile.
Sigurado ako, Clayne is very much aware that Avery healed her.
Nagpaalam sa amin si mommy at si Clayne dahil magpapa discharge na daw sila sa hospital. I was left dumbfounded sa kinatatayuan ko. Hindi ako maaaring magkamali, Avery has the power to heal my brother. Even Clayne knows about it.
Aside from healing my brother, I am sure that even the memory of my mother was altered. The doctors and the hospital staffs seem to forget that Clayne was to about to go a major operation.
"Did you just heal Clayne and erase my mother's memories about the accident?" gulat kong tanong sa kanya.
I can't believe what is unfolding in front of me. Para akong nasa isang fantasy story sa loob ng supernatural world.
At dahil ito kay Avery "The Supernatural" Silvestre...
"Lahat ng tao na related kay Clayne, they will forget everything and they will consider this as a minor accident. Unfortunately, Clayne may remember bits and pieces of what actually happened. Your brother is already a smart kid. As I heal him with my powers, his exceptional brain will improve hundred folds."
"Eh bakit ako naalala ko ang lahat?"
"Because I like you, Chaz. And just like our agreement, you are officially mine," sabi ni Avery as she kissed my cheeks.
Wait! Did I just say yes to her utterly absurd proposal?
