Last time in The Wish...nah, I'm just kidding. I'm sure you remember what happened. Here's the next chapter so you can find out what happens next.

Gladion really wished that he could be anywhere else but with (y/n). He was already a burden enough to her, but now that he was Necrozma's little spy, he couldn't bare being near her because he knew that Necrozma was going to relay every bit of information that he purposely or accidentally gathered.

He was purposely avoiding her gaze as they followed Xerneas deeper into the forest. He had been so lost in his thoughts that he began to fall behind.

"Gladion, are you okay?" (y/n) asked him. She was a little farther ahead of him but he could still hear her loud and clear. He nodded so that he could avoid even speaking to her. The less he said and did, the less Necrozma would know. (Y/n) didn't leave it at that though. She slowed down until she was walked next to him.

"If there's anything bothering you or if you want to tell me what happened these past few days while I was out, I'd be glad to listen even if you have bad news," she reassured him.

Her voice was very pleasant to his ears and if he wasn't in the predicament that he found himself in right then, he would have loved to hear her talk to him all day. He didn't like how her voice made it so tempting to tell her everything right there and then.

He hated how she made it so easy for him to become what he liked to call weak, but at the same time, he loved how she always understood him and made it easy for him to talk to her.

"We are here now," Xerneas announced. Saved by the life pokémon! Now he wouldn't have to respond to (y/n) any time soon. Xerneas had led them to a partial clearing in the deepest part of the forest. Behind Xerneas, who had turned around to face them, was a very large tree. It was extremely tall but most if the trees in this particular forest were anyway. This one, however, was even taller and had a very thick trunk.

"Alrighty, Hoshiko. Gladion. I suggest you two get comfortable because this might take a while." Xerneas said. (Y/n) sat down in the lush grass and Gladion followed her example assuming that Xerneas had ordered them to take a seat.

"First off, we need to allow Gladion to hear me as well. He needs to hear this." Xerneas said. "(Y/n) I need you to hold Gladion's hand and pretend that Gladion can understand pokémon as well as you can. How well this works will depend on your concentration."

Of course, Gladion hadn't heard Xerneas say this so when (y/n) asked him for permission to hold his hand he denied her.

"Why do you need to do that?" he questioned. His voice sounding harsher than he wanted it to. (Y/n) simply pointed at Xerneas and said, "She said so." Gladion couldn't disobey the pokémon of life, but he also didn't see what holding hands had anything to do with the situation.

Despite his doubt, he complied and held (y/n)'s hand. It wasn't that he didn't want to hold her hand. It was just that he was trying to avoid making the tension between them any worse than it already was. When he did hold her hand though, he figured out why Xerneas had asked them to do so. He could now hear every word the pokémon was saying rather than just the sound Xerneas made.

"I will start off by telling you a little about yourself, Hoshiko. I know that your name isn't Hoshiko now, but at one point in time that was your name. I am limited on what I can tell you about your past because of Arceus' stupid rules, but here goes nothing," Xerneas said.

Gladion then realize that he had just set himself up. Necrozma could now hear what Xerneas was saying, but then it occurred to him that Necrozma was a pokémon himself and would be able to understand Xerneas anyway. Even so, the situation still made him uncomfortable.

"First off, Hoshiko. You are not human, but you are not a pokémon either. Your classification, as the humans call it, is still unknown even to Arceus. You were created by Arceus just like all other pokémon were, using Mew's genetics, but in addition to that, Arceus summoned all of the mythical and legendary pokémon to the dream realm and ordered them to give you one-fifth of their power."

"Yes, you hold one-fifth of power from every mythical and legendary pokémon. I don't know what Arceus was thinking when he did this but he did it and now you're here. The thing is, your power far exceeds even Arceus' power so this puts you in great danger when anyone finds out. Thanks to my friend Yveltal, the organization called Team Flare now knows of this power and they wish to use it for evil purposes. I will pause to let you think about this before I continue."

Gladion wasn't sure how shocked (y/n) was but he sure was starstruck. He glanced at (y/n) and saw a look of sheer terror on her face and then she spoke.

"Are you telling me that the woman that I thought was my mother isn't my mother. How much more of my life is a lie?" (y/n) said. He could hear the hurt in her voice and it hurt him as well. Xerneas did not respond to (y/n)'s question. Instead she just continued to speak.

"You were appointed as the ruler over the dream realm and that's where you lived. You grew up like a normal human child in a way but when you were two years of age, Arceus decided that you should be raised with humans rather than with pokémon."

"Arceus left you with a nice family here in the Kalos region but you didn't stay long. You weren't aware that you couldn't use you power while you were among humans and your level of intelligence could rival that of a six year old. One day, Yveltal came to the town you lived in with the intent to harm the people you called parents."

"He was being overly selfish. I swear it gets on my nerves sometimes. You of course faught him off and although that wasn't the wrong thing to do, a few people saw it and reported it which put you in a bad situation. A search for you was established and they wanted to run some tests so Arceus erased the memory of those who had seen you which included your adoptive parents and yourself."

"He wasn't able to get rid of the files on your existence but that didn't bother him until recently. He put you on a boat headed to Alola with a nice woman who gladly took you in. She didn't know where you had come from and she didn't know about your power."

"Oh, and your hair used to be so beautiful. Not that it isn't beautiful now but back then, it was the color of the cosmos. The night sky and beyond would display in your hair and as it flowed, the stars in your hair shifted as well. Of course Arceus had to alter this when he suppressed your power but you could always choose to reawaken your power."

"It will come with some costs but it would be absolutely glorious. I also miss you summoning me to the dream realm. It was absolutely gorgeous there. Oh, I'm so sorry for ranting on like this. I will leave you with your friend for a little and I will return so that I can tell you about myself and Yveltal." Xerneas said the last sentence with a little laugh.

She indeed left the two of them alone in shock. Gladion looked at (y/n) and saw her crying. He didn't know what to do. He saw that her hand was still intertwined with his own which he had forgotten about. (Y/n) stared off into the distance. He could tell that her gaze wasn't focused on anything in particular.

She didn't even take notice when he let go of her hand and got a little closer to her. He wanted to say something reassuring but he wasn't too good at that and was afraid that he'd only hurt her more.

"(Y/n)," he said. She turned her gaze to him and she looked him directly into the eyes, her tears still falling. He didn't say anything more. All he did was hold out his arms to her which gave her permission to hug him.

She did just that and clung tightly to his shirt as she began to sob. He stroked her hair in an attempt to calm her down and it was working because her sobing lessened to soft whimpering.

For a guy who hated being too close to people, he sure did enjoy that too much. He didn't understand why he was so willing to be near (y/n) but revolted the touch of even his own sister at times.

He knew that Xerneas would certainly take her time getting back and he found himself in a strange predicament. (Y/n) had litterally cried herself to sleep and Gladion would do no such thing as to wake her up.

And I finished this chaper. I know the legendary pokémon are supposed to be genderless and all but it's very hard to write a sentence and use "it" without sounding rude. Just imagine me saying "it said" all of the time. Arceus is a different story though. For Arceus, I must use "it" instead of "he" or "she". Until next time my wonderful readers!
